Our squad is paper thin, we can’t rotate like others can.
Its not about rotation though, the big clubs can rotate per game (as they are). Its about the risk of making subs like a normal season and then someone going down with a hamstring. Its far more likely this term. I'm not one of those karma people who wanna see your players get injured to prove a point or anything. I also hope you stay up even though its not looking great. Just saying thats why people were shouting karma, which I didn't agree with.

I think its fair to say despite their struggles and making everything hard for themselves United are bang in this title race.

We knew this anyway, easier to accept now instead of hoping for change
Don't know if I'm talking out of my arse but since your defence has weakened with Ramsdale and no O'connell, you have to try banking on scoring more to win and accept you'll concede. You guys looked better with Mousset and Brewster on, I'd go with 3 up front with Mousset, Burke and Mcgoldrick if I were Wilder and try getting the former 2 running at defences.

But look what happened, hamstring injury forced a change which was horrific for us and we had to turn to Jagielka. 5 subs doesn’t change the options we have. Oh well, that rule is set now anyway for now. Got no hope of staying up unfortunately.

Actually think that would've been a tipping point result for OGS if it had gone 3-3, simply can't not win in that situation v team with just 1 point.

But Man. United did win and I actually can see them winning most of the upcoming games over xmas/new year so could be in very good position come early January. Toughest on paper is Leicester away but you won that last season and Leicester lost 4 out of 7 at home so far.

They're really weird at the moment. Look like the best team in the league for 20 mins each game but the rest of it look like a bottom half team yet that 20 mins wins them the game.

Those last 10 showed signs of something promising. Brewster Mousset and McGoldrick linked up nicely.

I only been paying attention to us, so didn't even know the last round of scores. Couldn't believe City drew with West Brom. What's going on over there?

Might get more tasty - they have Southampton next.

Can’t stay up if you struggle for goals. Solid teams have gone down plenty of times because of it. It’s not over though, the players are still playing for Wilder, which is really good to see. You don’t look like a team that’s given up.

Yeah, it's working though. Other teams are playing good games and bad games and either winning comfortably or dropping points.

United are going to the well time and again but finding a way. I hate to say it but like Liverpool those are the teams who win trophies. 6 away games in a row where United have come from behind to win.

Last season Sheffield's top scoring striker got about 6 goals I think so it wasn't a major strength last year either.

They're just way worse defensively this season and shows even for a mid table team the margins aren't that big to push you well into bottom 3 if the 1-0s dry up.

United are a baffling side.
Had we lost against Spurs, Utd could have sat above us in the league with their game in hand. Ole above Klopp. Just think about that without letting your head explode. :houllier:

Rio was right, put that contract on the table and let Ole put whatever numbers he wants on it.

I'm not even #oleout but there is no way you think that is the best move for United.

Yeah we're really not, I still doubt our chances to finish top 4 with Spurs' resurgence under Jose this season let alone challenging for anything

Yeah you'd love that

I'm not sure Ole has much negotiating power just yet!

Didn't realise Yannick Bolasie has been frozen out from everton! Always thought he was a decent player too.
Can be filed in the same folder as the likes of Andros Townsend. Both seemed to burst onto the scene as unplayable incredibly fast and tricky players originally then just dropped of massively.

Ole winning the league, with the transfer window we just had, would expose some of the hype of Klopps accomplishments at Liverpool.
I typed that jokingly until i was halfway through, Ill be honest.

What classes as a good result for us in the Arsenal game? An Everton win probably keeps them above us on GD unless we absolutely smash Leeds, but I do just hope for Arsenal to lose to anyone but Pool at this point as I really want them in a relegation battle

They can't score to save their lives and keep conceding from nothing. Weird team

I didn’t check in details but draws are probably best? Liverpool is already leading so that’s not good. We have to hope Crystal Palace doesn’t give up.
