On a long road that returns to Old Trafford!!!
Cheers

*Still has no idea what any of that means*
Ha!

I know that feeling pretty well. There is an optional boss called Cleric Beast that you meet early. Meeting the boss itself will give you 1 insight. Then when you go to the 'Hunters Dream' through the lamp, you can spend Blood Echoes to level up just like in a Souls game.

Yeah. At least got the shortcuts done so only have to go through 2 pigs before reaching the boss. Still havent been able to figure out how to fight them once they turn into Dhalsim from Street Fighter
Theres a couple of summons before the boss that make it a lot easier. They're not too hard to interrupt with the gun for a visceral, more in early phases though which probably doesn't help much.

There's no great secret I'm afraid. I generally find it easiest to eliminate the fireball-tossing one first; others recommend prioritising the sword guy. Using the big tombstone can be helpful, they sometimes find it tough to get around it so you can separate them.

I didnt find any place to summon a Hunter.
Theres an npc in hemwick charnel lane who gives you a covenant type thing that lets you summon more companions, theres one 10 / 20 feet from fog door. If you dont have that then turn around at fog door and go straight till you hit a gate, area just after gate has another summon.

Yeah that what I have been doing. Kill the fireball guy first and then work on the other two.

Yeah I joined a covenant but I think you need to be online for this summon to work. Will look for the other summon

I didn't notice any performance issues in Miles. Maybe try switching to performance mode if your not currently in it?

Opted for Sackboy as my next game, looks like fun. Also bought PES as it was on offer if you fancy a game sometime @Pexbo
I bought Sackboy too! Will be playing it through with my partner but hopefully there’s some other multiplayer content?

Keen for PES although maybe not while I’m on Cornish broadband, my rating has dropped like a stone since I’ve been trying to play it here :(

Sure! I haven’t played PES for donkeys years though so I’ll be awful. I just fancied a football game but didn’t want to play FIFA.
It’s a hard game to get grips of in my opinion.

@Pexbo can I add you to PSN? Keen to give you a game.

Just bought Immortals Fenyx Rising since it’s on sale. Thinking about grabbing Valhalla as well. Also, Genshin Impact just got an update/expansion.

So much to play. man I’m enjoying my PS5 a lot

I got Assassins Creed Valhalla today on ps5 and I’m well impressed, the game looks great and runs at 60 FPS. I haven’t played this open world style AC game before so I’m really enjoying it.

I've now reached the point of wanting a ps5.

Now I've completed valhalla I don't want to commit to playing another game till I get a ps5.

Hopefully I'll get one in February for my bday?

Same here. I want to get stuck in at FIFA again, but I’m not touching it until I’ve gotten my grubby paws on a PS5!

Got one yesterday for Christmas. Just finished setting it up and transferring save data. Now playing Miles Morales which looks great. The loading times are insane. The controller feels great. Nice heft to it that the Dualshock didn't have. Also got Demon's Souls. Played Astrobot for 20 mins or so. Really shows off the capabilities of the DualSense and it's a neat little game.

For Christmas I got Miles Morales which is fantastic so far, Demon Souls- beat this 9 years ago so haven’t started it up yet and NBA 2K21- thought this would be easy going but actually dividing it really tough, especially defensively, any tips/entire guide to not sucking without the ball would be much appreciated.

I can’t buy online, I’m limited to Argos too and I need to buy in store as I get quite a big discount likely around £35/40 off, I’m not sure how or even if I can redeem it online. If it does come to it amd I can’t get one in store by mid February then I’ll just bite the bullet and try order online but I’ll keep that site in mind cheers.

that game just gave me far too much stress and made me angry, I’d find that when I turned the game off I’d be pissed off and moody (it’s sad I know) but I’m sure most fifa gamers can relate so I made the choice to stop playing and honestly it’s the best choice ever For me.

Is Valhalla worth it at 40 quid?
I got it for PS4. It’s a very by the numbers assassins creed game. Enjoyable, has kept me occupied over the Xmas period but it’s not going to surprise you. I had nothing to play, so was worth it for me, but I am sure there will be better options. Ghost of Tshumia is same roughly same price on PS store

have You completed it yet? My neighbour says there is a bug late on that means until there’s a patch he can’t complete it.
