Is this not an oxymoron? How do you see Leicester challenging when they drew a game at home against a team you said played badly but still should have won? We are the only ones challenging them unfortunately.
I don't think they played badly, their midfield was impressive. We will keep missing those chances and conceding easy goals.

Should’ve won. No real disaster and we continue to be at least entertaining but the seemingly wilful decision to cede the momentum when we go in front in order to play for a counter attacking clincher is incredibly naive with this defence against actually decent teams.

Game was there to be won, we had the chances but as usual our defence failed to defend when they had to. Please dont play VL at right back again.
it def feels like 2 points dropped even though Leicester played well enough, the game was there to be won.
quite amazing Dan James gets a game ahead of Pogba and Cavani, we have to start with the best players and rotate when and if they tire.

I honestly hate these pountless changes by Ole, daniel james should not even start in front of lingard let alone greenwood cavani pogba van de beek , he was awfull as everyone except Ole anticipated. The mentality of seating back after going ahead is another factor that will cost us an exciting season. Guttedd

In the end very frustrating as we were the better team and carved out so many clear chances on goal. Rashford and Martial cannot be depended on as our no9 for the next 5 years and we need a specialist like Cavani in that position.

Really frustrated about Bailly and Tuanzebe not marking Vardy properly for his goal. Basics.

cavani made a beautiful impact on the short time he was in the game. Fred, McTominay and Shaw were also very good.

Saw enough to think we will finish above Leicester this season.

Should have won, Rushford is wasteful and Martial non-existent. I can't believe that Rushford miss a point blank header. Isn't all striker told the head the ball downstairs. If we are to be champion, Martial cannot be our main striker. Martial can sit on the bench and sulk. Cavani came in a provided an assist. What did Martial do in the whole match? How many shots did he have? Rubbish.

We need a decent third CB and a decent backup RB on pronto in Jan if we want to hold on to top 4.
... and a right winger and a defensive midfielder. Our squad depth is good. We need a bit more world class quality in the starting eleven.

These points lost are on Ole. Cowardly setup, cowardly gameplay. We need to play on the front foot and try to devastate this kind of opposition, not to be cautious beyond merit :(

Disappointed with a point there. Rashford should have had a hat trick.
have to recover in time for another tricky game on Tuesday against Wolves.
positive - we’re becoming a very tough team to beat

Awful result considering we were ahead twice. We'll never get anywhere with that defence.
Liverpool will absolutely walk this league. Their reserve defence is a lot better than our first choice defence.

Considering the amount of money we invest into our squad, that fact that we find it as tough as we did against Leicester is a sad indictment.
Blowing a lead twice in a very important game will do nothing for the confidence of our defence which will eventually spread like a disease to the rest of the squad.

Really frustrating because we should be winning that game on balance of play and chances.

3 separate mistakes for their first goal
- Casual Bruno
- Scott showing Barnes onto his stronger foot???
- DDG bad footwork

second goal -Need to see it again, but looked like Shaw rushing out uneccessarily and Pogba not being bothered to cover for him

Ugh sickening. Feels like a miss because we missed out on second and closing the gap albeit for a few hours probably. Now we're likely to to see the gap increase.

In isolation, not the worst result and we played okay. Just another game that highlights how much we need to finish our chances. Tightening up the defence would be very helpful too!

Decent point but should have won the game with the chances we had. Shame our defense prefers ball watching to actually defending

In the end it feels disappointing, we should have won. At the start I would have taken a draw as Leicester are very good recently.

can’t feel too sad about that, it just shows how much we’ve improved

So fecking obvious

You can’t play worse players than we have on the bench for the long run and pick up enough points. Dan James is absolutely useless, he’s played about 40 games for United and been piss poor in 35 of them, he wouldn’t look out of place in the championship
Yeah, starting James is basically starting with a man down. Though he at least did play a part in the first goal.

There's this idea that limited footballers somehow automatically makes us more stable when defending. It's a bit odd.

Deserved to win with our chances. Dickheads couldn’t finish their dinner. So frustrating as they were average. If James hadn’t started we win that. Just wasted it all the time.

Maddison is a diving little prick.

Was that not an OG for their second?
And so overrated.

Albrighton also turns into a marauding, all-dominating wing back when he plays us. The prick.

Where the grass is greener.
Pressure firmly on to win the next two games after that.

In isolation a draw away to Leicester isn't the worst result, but they should never have scored twice and we should have scored at least 4.

Finishing was poor, but you can't score 3-4 goals every game. That defence is poor, we can't rely on them to bail us out when we really need and it will be thing that stops from really challenging for the league

It really isn't a bad point and despite being far from our best, should have won.

Marcus is probably one of the most frustrating players to watch. He can be devastating, but he missed two sitters today and was caught offside too much. Really need to be finishing chances like those and we'll be winning games comfortably. Coulda, woulda, shoulda scored 4, but wasn't to be.

Seems like we need to buy a Defender (who can wake up our sleeping defenders) and our finishing was awful. Expected Ole to try Williams in RB though

Thought James improved his game but back to his usual self (just has pace but can't beat anyone, plus his positioning was bad)
Bailly was rash in his decision making and Tuanzebe was also caught napping.

Don't understand why our defense wasn't closing down on Barnes. Did the same mistake against Everton (gave way too much space)

Dropped points. The two misses by Rashford cost us. These weren’t “could have” scored chances...they were “should have” all the way.

Defending let us down as well, but even though we should have closed down Barnes you can’t deny it was a wonder strike. The second Leicester goal goes to Tuanzebe, who’s still learning the craft. I seriously doubt anyone here thought we’d keep a clean sheet on this this. We need to be more clinical on goal.

The fixtures are really starting to annoy me. There are a handful of teams that played midweek and we get the early fixture. Tottenham played the same night as us and get an extra day of rest. Our next game is also on Tuesday. We’re getting no rest between games.

Sloppy today but did have enough chances to win it. That being said, with the way the game went, I think a draw is the right result, which isn't the worse result away to Leicester.
Agreed, we'll be disappointed to not win that, but it's not a bad result in a packed schedule.

Yeah, I'm beginning to write Daniel James off as a punt that hasn't worked.
