Grealish falls at the slightest sign of body contact. Looking forward to Martinez again.

Victims is synonymous with the Hillsborough disaster. If that Villa fan doesn't know that, it doesn't excuse him one iota. No doubt he'll be doing airplane gestures at old Trafford soon enough 'without knowing why'.

On a similar high horse note, how many Utd fans want to continue using bin dippers as a nomenclature in light of Rashford's background and now MBE? Your very own ex bin dipper would love that.
Whilst I fully agree that the use of terms such as "bin dipper" and "chavs" is both childish and snobbish and therefore to be entirely expected in the pathetic, slow to evolve and tribal world of football fandom, I note that you don't highlight Liverpool fans using the nomenclature "cnuts" despite your team being full of them.

Didn’t know hamstring strains were contagious.
Every club has dealt with players missing due to Covid. Unless you are suggesting every City player has contracted Covid, I don't see the problem. I can understand calling off today's match as every player will be tested again. But once that's done and unless all players are positive, I think it should be business as usual.

I can understand them calling off the game today as they may want to test all their players and staff again. But there really is no question of their games against Chelsea and us being called off. Even if they have 10 players out due to Covid, it's no different a situation than having 10 players out injured. This is precisely why clubs have squads, so it's time to use them.
My understanding was that if you could field 14 players including your under 23 squad you had to play. City should have to forfiet this game as should have Newcastle for missing their game a couple of weeks ago, especially if their players have broken covid guidelines.

As for the semi final agaisnt us, that competition has already set the precedent. Leayton Orient had to forfiet their game agaisnt Spurs due to a number of their players testing positive. The same rule has to apply to City in the semi if their situation remains the same.

@Inigo Montoya has explained in a post on the previous page that it was different rules for the League Cup.

What's the deal with Ziyech at the moment? Is he really struggling with injuries or is there more to it than that? I know it's a rival side, but I was looking forward to seeing more of him.

Always think about that ludicrous Nani red card when you see a player with a high boot welly someone in the face.
Then walk away looking disappointed to have given a free kick away!

Always find it funny that if you're doing a overhead kick you're not susceptible to a booking or anything if you kick someone in the head

Pulisic should have gotten a yellow, no? Another Chelsea player escaped one earlier as well, when he almost wrestled McGinn to the ground.

It's bonkers isn't it. How can going to kick it with a bicycle kick not be reckless?

Yet Nani got sent off for dangling a foot gently in the air.

We all like spectacular goals but most overhead kicks are bloody dangerous stuff.

Really? That dude? Who can't hit a barn door from 5 yards out and is going through a good patch?
Yeah, that dude. Before you go bonkers, know that I’m not suggesting that Harvey Barnes is the next Arjen Robben.

Harvey has in fact hit the keyhole through the barn door — I know it was a long time ago now, but he did it against us this weekend — whereas I really can’t see James making any kind of sustainable contribution to United. James has the pace Barnes doesn’t, but he’s unable to make good decisions with the ball on a consistent basis, which Barnes does. The latter could be a decent squad player for us, whereas it seems highly unlikely that James ever will be.

Watching James lately I don’t think he’s even that fast to be honest, Barnes has a good turn of pace on him.

Damn, those was a good chance for Villa. Mendy can't be dropping that the way he did. He's very lucky.
