What are you on about
No other option to pass to. Keeper off his line ball bounced up. He had two options let the move die by trying to win a corner or go for the spectacular which is to lob the keeper. It was on and he managed to execute it. It didn't hit his shin or anything clean contact with his boot.

Had this on 5 live and the commentator is already declaring Spurs very much in the title race again.

Steady on, barely on course still to get to even 70 points this season and that would be less than most of Pochettino seasons.

Thanks. Glad you cleared that up. I can rest easy now.

oh christ lose today and then potentially going to Fulham without Bruno and Maguire? FML
Really? Worried about Bailly and Lindelof starting against Fulham ? Or a midfield of Pog, McT and Fred ? We have Mata too if we want to play with a proper 10.

Decent squad depth.. Not too concerned.

Yeah man, Beckham just seen the keeper of his line and thought he would have a pop, pure fluke it landed where it did. I mean when Mendes tried it, a fecking ref robbed us of the goal, fluky goal keeping that was .

CMs playing in defence and Shaqiri starting? Wow. But still think this is a 1-1 game.

Annoying that Ajax - Feyenoord is on at the same time as Liverpool United.

How does Firmino keep getting games? He's awful! A terrible finisher.

If we’d made the right decisions in the final third we’d have a couple. Firmino has been awful in front of goal. Thiago has mostly been class.

United have threatened with the odd counter but so far have been lacklustre imo. Martial has the beating of TAA.

We'll win this if the game continues on a similar vein.

Liverpool are playing the same as they have been for weeks; all possession but no penetration. They are also playing a dangerously high line at the back against two of the quickest strikers in the league. Rashford will make them regret that if/when he finally beats the offside trap.

No you won’t. We’ve had you split open numerous times. If that continues we’ll score eventually.

If this continues as it is you’ll end the game with 0 shots on target.

That's not even remotely true mate. You haven't created a single clear-cut opportunity for all your possession. Not one.

Your defence will only grow in tiredness as the game progress, too, and the more tired they get, the less-effective they'll be at playing the offside trap.

Exactly, we need to change drastically to get anything out of this game.

I mean we literally did on 45:55 and the ref blows for half time as he has been doing any time we’re up the field following an offside.

Unfortunately we’re just too blunt up top the final pass and finish just isn’t happening or falling to the wrong player. It’s a game you want Jota coming on in.

We’ve had the ball plenty in good areas though. Just lacked the final ball. You’re giving us some of those openings too. Firmino has most of our chances in the area unfortunately.

Trent’s side is an issue though.

It hadn't even crossed my mind that Ndombele didn't mean that until I've seen people on here saying otherwise.
