Moukoko scores from a Haaland assist. It's insane that he's only 16. He plays and is physical like a player way beyond his years.

They're not a good team at all. A few good attackers but their midfield, defence and keeper are poor. They are only 3 points from 4th so still well within reach of CL football.

This is the kind of unprofessionalism their official account often comes out with. PSG losing a domestic game has absolutely zero relevance to Dortmund. Just a petty way to score cheap internet points.

Official accounts tweeting that kind of nonsense is apparently ‘good banter’ but if randomers dare banter Dortmund on the caf then they’ve got fans of Bayern, Köln, Neverkusen and the rest of the bundesliga mob coming for them.
As a Dortmund supporter I do find their Twitter 'banter' especially from their non-german account quite cringeworthy. This post obviously has relevance to Dortmund though since the Lorient players imitated PSG's celebration after knocking Dortmund out of the UCL when Neymar etc. in turn made fun of Haaland's zen-celebration. Pretty weird stuff from all involved I'd say.

Not sure where the negativity regarding Bellingham comes from. He has been quite good this season especially considering the current state of the team.

It's really funny to see some posts of United fans here. What a change in attitude compared to the time when Dortmund was everybody's darling. I mean looking at some of the reactions you'd think Dortmund is a rival of United. :p

A German fan being offended on behalf of a rival German club? What a brand new phenomenon for the caf.

No, it's simply amusing to see United fans take it so personal what happened between their club and Dortmund in the previous season. Shouldn't you guys be above stuff like that? It's kinda small time tbh.

Us English have become great advocates of your “schadenfreude” in recent years.

Think Haaland will want to leave end of season if Dortmund fail to qualify for the CL.

Thing is, you guys believe it would bother other Bundesliga fans that Dortmund performs badly and that you could get back at us because of it  I thought all this 'Bundesliga protection alliance' stuff was just to provoke us but apparently some of you really believe it.

If you want to wind up Bayern, Leverkusen and Köln fans so much, maybe try talking shit about these clubs instead of the BVB.

The Dortmund social media account has a lot to do with it as well to be fair. When Mkhitaryan played for us they posted something like 'Have fun in the Europa League Henrikh ;)'. Shit like that is obviously going to piss fans off and make them dislike the club.

Yeah, their social media game is quite bad, IMO. Not sure what type of strategy they're maintaining. They used to be everybody's darling internationally, no idea why they weren't happy with that.

Wonder if Bellingham is still happy he followed the money instead of coming Utd

It has become a thing that businesses on social media accounts do. Slightly random but Xbox are the same. They try really hard to humanise themselves by giving off the impression that it's just another guy having 'banter' on social media when in actuality it's an obvious corporate strategy and incredibly cringey and unappealing.

Love to see that smug bellend Watzke fuming in the stands. Him and Zorc are way overrated in their roles at reinventing Dortmund. They should thank Klopp on their knees for even being framed as influential figures in Dortmunds success in the last decade.

I think you got that the wrong way round, we offered more he wanted as much first team footy as possible at his age. Right move for him.

That's what Dortmund would like to think.

Michael Edwards will follow them in the line.

Yeah, I`m quite looking forward to how the - by Liverpool fans proclaimed - "brilliant" sporting and analytical team will work its magic once Klopp is gone. I think most Pool fans will be in for some surprise.

Don't think so. The articles about their analytics and scouting departments really impressed me. If Liverpool fans really brag so much about it, they are probably right to do so.

Liverpool's analytics team is second to none in the Premier League at least. Brentford would rival them when they finally come up.

They have basically become such a nothing club these days, just yoyoing around the league. Their social media also come across as very petty, childish, cringey and small-time. They need a better PR community manager. I used to like their club a lot when they were under Klopp and later on Tuchel but now they are becoming like Arsenal, just a mid-table team.

It’s a different mentality I guess. In the same position I’d be wanting to win stuff - I’ m kind of glad we didn’t get him now - it makes you wonder if he’s lacking in ambition a bit

I think thats harsh on the lad. He would have gotta very few opportunities this season at utd and Dortmund have a track record for developing talent. He gets regular football and regular CL football. 2nd biggest club in german. Hardly lacking ambition.

So the Ödegaard route then? Seems legit.

Nah, that's harsh. Going to Germany, playing top flight football after having zero experience of that in England is a pretty bold step at his age. Its the right move and I would have made the same choice.

Interested to know what you've seen that suggests Liverpool are still lightyears ahead. A number of interviews (this one from the Director of Research at Liverpool) and articles point to a small team of 6 that provide pre and post-game reports as well as xG and things like 'expected possession value models'. I'm sure it's super useful, but isn't that the sort of stuff most top teams will be getting nowadays? I've become cynical of gushing journalist pieces on the behind-the-scenes football stuff ever since we were made to believe City had the most spectacular and groundbreaking academy in the game.

Bellingham wasn’t getting in our starting XI most weeks, with Bruno, Pogba, Fred and McTominay there. The latter of those two who work quite well when together.

The amount of teams in the Premier League competing for those Champions League places these days really doesn’t allow us the chance to put in 17 year olds on a consistent basis and the pressure will be insane on him and the British Media are as quick to knock you down as they are to build you up. 15 years ago maybe we could have had that luxury when there was a massive chasm of quality between that old Top 4 and the other 16.

I wonder if you also offered his agent more moeny than Dortmund. They're infamous for paying gigantic amounts of money to player agents for their talents like Haaland, Bellingham & Co.. If I recall correctly the FA's reports said it was an annual average of roughly € 50M over the last three or four seasons. That's almost as much as Bayern and Leipzig spent on agent fees combined.

 They really do love backing each other up. So strange.

Mock Dortmund all you want. But most of the mocks towards BVB or Bayern usually comes with a disrespecting "... in this trash Bundesliga" and other bs which is simply not true. Which is obviously mocking the whole league and all its teams and not only BVB/Bayern. And then you wonder that other fans also start a backlash? This is strange.
