There are a lot of to-ing nd fro-ing on here regarding how the team is doing and whether we are going to finish 2nd or slip up and out of the top 4. So to lighten the mood lets pretend its the end of the season. Where have we finished? Have we won any of the 2 cup we're in? Whats the top 6 in order?
I'm going
Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd, Leicester, Chelsea, West Ham. I think semis in the FA cup where we will probably draw City again, and quarters in Europa League.
What do you think?

2nd or 3rd in the league

I fancy us to win the Europa this time around. We are favourites, and I think the best equipped squad-wise to deal with that competition

FA Cup - who knows. Seems inevitable that we'd have to beat City at some point to win it

Scraped fourth ahead of Liverpool. Got knocked out in two semis (this one is obvious). Martial scores 1 more goal all season.

Top 6:
1. City
2. Chelsea
3. Leicester
4. United
5. Liverpool
6. Villa

CL winners:
Man City

FA Cup winners:
Chelsea

EL winners:
Spurs

1. City
2. Liverpool
3. Chelsea
4. United
5. Leicester

City win the FA Cup, we get knocked out in the quarter-finals of the EL.

  • 2nd in the league, City top
  • FA Cup loss to Leicester, City to win
  • Europa League win
  • CL - PSG to win (anyone but City or Liverpool)

I think there's going to be very little difference points wise from 2nd-6th, so really hard to say.

Based on how teams are performing now/how I expect them to go for the rest of the season, I would say:

1) City
2) Leicester
3) Chelsea
4) Utd
5) Liverpool
6) Everton

Cups -

CL: Bayern

EL: Lille

LC: City

FA: City

Relegated, but we won the EL so we’re in the CL. Our inconsequential away visit to the Bernabeu interspliced with must wins at home to Luton and Preston.

DvB still limited to 10min at a time.

1) City
2) United
3) Chelsea
4) Leicester
5) Liverpool
6) Everton

CL - PSG
EL - United
FA - Chelsea
LC - City

Ireland will win, but Viktor Krumm will catch the golden snitch.

1. City
2. United
3. Liverpool
4. Chelsea
5. Leicester
6. West Ham

FA Cup - United
CL - Bayern
EL - Leicester (just a feeling)

It would be so unlike them to move several places in the span of a few weeks
All they have to do to finish ahead of us is to get one more point than us in the remaining 14 games. That's it. I don't think it's likely to happen - we have a much better and deeper squad - but it's clearly not some bizarre far-fetched doomsday scenario.

1st - City
2nd - Liverpool (It wouldn't shock me if they go on a good run of results after Leipzig - they are only 6 points behind)
3rd - Chelsea (They have a tendency to go on great runs when they change manager mid-season)
4th - United
5th - Leicester
6th - West Ham

FA Cup - Chelsea
League Cup - City
CL - City (With their defence this season, I can see them winning it)
EL - Not sure. For some reason when I'm looking at the teams remaining, I'm leaning towards AC Milan.

This is assuming none of the teams suffers any more major injuries. I think our lack of creativity upfront will come back to bite us.

Leicester, United, Chelsea, and Liverpool will be tight.

I think we’ll stay in the top four but I don’t think we’ll win any trophies.

United Champions. City collapse after a 0-6 hammering at home to United next month. Bruno scores record 6 penalties in single match.

United FA Cup Winners. Going one better than the league United beat Southampton 10-0 in final. The unlucky Saints get 2 players sent off prior to kick-off for an over vigorous warm-up routine.

United Europa League Winners. United beat Spurs in final after a “Mourinho-esque” performance winning 1-0 with no possession (Harry Kane og).

Ole is sacked for failing to secure a “real treble”.
