This would be our 5th home defeat in a row, with only one goal scored (a dodgy penalty). It's not good enough.
Christ, crazy how the wheels have fallen off when just before Christmas you guys looked like you were favourites to retain the league.

Chelsea fully deserve that. Can't believe that dodgy offside decision. We're playing really well though, much better than the past few months - low bar admittedly.

How can you be offside with your arm when if the ball hits any part of your arm during an attack the goal will be disallowed for handball? It doesn’t make sense.
Spanish commentators saying its now measured fron the end of a short sleeve shirt and not the armpit. Whether you can score a goal with that part i just dont know.

Mount has really impressed the last twelve months or so. I am happy to admit I was completely wrong about him and thought he was only getting games because he was a pet favourite of Lampard’s.

An all-round very intelligent, bright footballer.

I understand it’s hard to train players in a different way after drilling them in a certain way for a few years but Jesus. Convinced I could get my local 5 a side a win against us at the moment. Why we’re still persisting with the same tactics is beyond me.

Think I’ll hit the vodka.

It’s weird to me that Ashley Cole played for Chelsea for 8 years and only won a single PL title.

Regardless of the teams it looked a goal to me, a player can’t score with his arm so don’t know why that counts. Mane backs into a player, feels contact on is shoulder/neck and goes down holding his face, not good. Hoping Chelsea win.

Seems to get a lot of undue criticism for some reason.
Idiots on here just can’t accept that other clubs are capable of producing and bringing through academy players too. You see the same with Foden. This places was absolutely begging for Mount to be dropped and all claimed to be fortune tellers about him being dropped once they could make signings. When he wasn’t they changed to he’d be dropped when the manager changed. Hasn’t happened either.

I said previously that I’ve spoken with academy coaches from Liverpool, City, and Burnley and they’ve all waxed lyrical about Mount over any of their own even. But the caf experts assured me they were all wrong and he’d be dropped in no time.

Chelsea have been good and deserve to be leading at half time but one has to question the lack of effort by Liverpool. If tonight was a knock out CL Tie it would be a very different by them.

He did from parts of our own fanbase too.
Yep. Maybe because he was keeping flashier players out of the side?

I think there's good reason all his managers seem to rate him.

If Chelsea could do us a favour and throw on kepa at half time that’d be sweet.

It’s plenty good enough thank you very much.

Nah cause they called him franks son etc and a load of nonsense. He works his socks off every single game and he's been playing really well for a while now.

Be 5 in a row. Never happened in your history. Klopp is certainly breaking all kinds of records.
He's always been a high risk/high reward manager. That's why we have extreme highs and lows under him. I'd never seen Liverpool win the league or concede 7 in a game before he arrived.

Mount is actually some player. I'm starting to warm to him. I can see why all his coaches love him.

Surely it was worth the risk even if you now disappear for the next 30 years (dont think you will mind)

Suicidal defending by Pool here, surely the have to make adjustments? Pushing both fullbacks high without defenders who have the capabilities to cover the space they leave is just foolish.
