  Stylebender? More like when I have a reach advantage I can win. Another McGregor ultimately. Same reach Rob vs Izzy then Rob beats the shit out of him no doubt.

If the judges are going to give 10-8s for just sitting on top of somebody, MMA is going to look very different IMO. Glad Jan won, good guy. Izzy can't make the move up without putting on some serious weight.

Yes! You beautiful polish beast. feck off Rogan going off on Jan and now having to eat his words.
He basically said that he doesn't know why Jan was striking and then Jan won the fight by taking him down instead which is what Rogan wanted him to do

The commentary on that fight was a disgrace. It was a comfortable win. Did Izzy outstrike him in any round?
DC was backing Jan. Rogan wanted to such Izzy off right there and then.

Jan was landing more significant strikes I think.
He definitely was. He was clipping him every time he came in and tried to dart back. No reach advantage, no party for Izzy. He was clearly beaten tonight.

I can see it being 4-1 too, that first round could have gone either way really.

Jan doesn't get enough praise

He was saying earlier that Jan doesn’t throw volume and then proceeded to tell us that Izzy was outstricking him. Well yes of course.

I mean, it wasn’t even a case of Adesanya not doing enough. He was well beaten here. Jan was hurting him in the striking and took him down and controlled him when he needed to.

It was an excellent display and he deserves a lot of praise. A great performance over 5 rounds.

Except he was actually wrong and Jan was outstriking Izzy at that point as Anik pointed out in the next round.

Yan was probably the most impressive out of the lot until that absolute brain fart.

Yeah it was in reference to saying he needed to change it up, as he was fighting the exact fight Izzy would have wanted him to. The second he started grappling and taking it to the ground there was only one winner.

But the issue I have with Rogan is that he’s pointing out the bleeding obvious. Problem is, Izzy fights on the outside and it’s not so easy to go for the takedown. I don’t know, I haven’t been impressed with Rogan for a while now.

I hope Rob takes a lesson from this and beats Costa and then beats Izzy's ass and proclaims himself as the real MW champion who actually beat the contenders. This whole time Dana has chased an Izzy Jones fight while letting Rob fight the hardest gauntlet of contenders of any ex champ ever. Now its clear that Izzy would be Jones' bitch that In hope Rob ruins his MW pans. Let Izzy have his belt while Rob defends it for him.

No one is disrespecting him, he is just a late bloomer. Five years ago he was mid tier, but he outlasted everyone, improved himself into a solid fighter and is deservedly reaping the rewards.

Jones would murder Izzy, unless you mean Jan then that would be a good fight.
No I want to see Jones and Izzy. They’ve a massive beef and I’d love to hear the shit talk and all that comes with it.

No one knew what was going on in the Yan corner. I didn’t hear anyone instructing him to kick Aljo. But one of the coaches clearly didn’t know the rules — he was celebrating the K.O. :houllier:

Tonight reminded me about how much I can't stand Rogan. He's so past it at this point and only says the obvious after it happens.
He does. He parrots DC’s stuff. DC says Jan is breathing heavy and then Rogan chimes in how he seen that already. He’s has nothing to offer expect ‘waaaw’ ‘oh oh’.

Oh and he was wrong about striking from Izzy tonight. Got completely sucked into the hype.

"OOOOOOOHHHHHH", from a jab. "He's hurt".... No visible signs of said fighter being hurt. Can't stand Rogan.

Never really focused on the commentary much before - if anything, I tend to laugh when Rogan hits us with the "OOOOOH" when shit gets real.
Today, he was extra as feck. Clearly wanted Izzy to win, and made the fight seem a whole lot closer than what he made out. What the hell was he watching? Made it out as if Izzy had schooled Jan in the first three rounds.

Also, loved the backtracking during the interview when he asked Jan about his days at middleweight - to then get shut down by Jan that he had never fought at middleweight before. Get your facts right.

DC and Anik are good though.

100% deserved result for Jan. I do enjoy watching Izzy fight, but I hope that loss puts him down a peg. Has been insufferable at times. Be interesting to watch him now in the rematch against the winner of Whittaker-Costa.

Big wait till Stipe-Ngannou now.

A never-nude? I thought he just liked cut-offs.
There was a funny bit at the end of the second round where DC questions Jan's gameplan slightly and Rogan interjects to say 'but he is getting outstruck', beholds an Adesanya jab that seemed to miss and exclaims 'look at that...POP!' There's certain fights where he's just grotesquely off base and biased. Israel could have took a shite in the Octagon and he'd have gave him the round for setting traps.

Joe ‘He’s setting traps’ Rogan.
