You look at what he’s doing with West Ham now. If we had stuck with him rather than getting rid I think we’d now be in a much better position than we currently are. Which granted wouldn’t be difficult because we are fecking dreadful.

There is no denying that West Ham are in fact performnig well above their perceived station, and Moyes should have his fair share of plaudits for that. But he was steering the club towards absolute disaster, from which we have never since fully recovered.
