Where have I said the goals and assists are flukes? you're projecting that. I simply said raw ability he’s not as good as the others I mentioned in my opinion hence not making my list.

What nonsense. Shaw has been playing well Since January for us. He has had his injury issues which has stalled his progress but when fit he is a very good player.

The slagging of Pogba here is no surprise. After all, he is dangerously close to become a physioroom legend and there’s no denying the drama circus that he brings with him. But if the question who are our “best” players, there’s no doubt that it’s these three, and in this order, although it must be said that because Pogba has had to miss so many games this season he can’t be seriously considered for club POY. It’s either Bruno or Shaw, full stop.
Rashford and Maguire, both of whom have had good seasons, need not submit their application. Martial, who had has one good season in the last four, needs to crawl out of his mental before before being part of any conversation about “best player” for United.

That wasn't warranted. His performances that season were average and we were shit. lets not pretend he was more than average as a player that year in the grand scheme of football. He was chosen almost by default and looked embarrassed to collect the award. I bet that only based off this season he will probably get back into the England team for the Euros where as before he was kept out by every left footed player, even Young
I do not think that Bruno has been our best player this season. I'd give the top spot to Luke Shaw. Second place would be a toss between several players, like Bruno, Deano, Maguire and maybe Pogba.

Pogba is no.1 when on form. It happens too infrequently to put him there though.

In terms of natural ability, it's clearly Pogba. In terms of performance, it's Bruno by a mile. In terms of potential, it's probably Greenwood over Rashford. Those four are the best players at the club and Shaw is making a superhuman effort to be the most improved player we've seen over the course of a season.

I’ve put him as the damn 2nd best player in our team but all these fools are upset because I think on raw talent and ability that Martial, Pogba and Shaw have more. Form and development are huge factors. Shaw would have been bottom of most of your lists 2 years ago. I think currently Rashford looks far more likely than martial to find a high enough level of consistency in the end because Martial keeps having really poor dips.

When was the last time Bruno had a very good game? Last 10 games I remember he was average, misplacing tons of passes. He is probably knackered, but I do not remember when was the last time he had a fantastic performance. If I was to choose between Pogba and Bruno based on their performances thus far this year, I'd pick Pogba. If I was to choose a player by ability, I'd pick Pogba. If I was to choose a player by determination and drive, I'd pick Bruno. How many top teams would pick Bruno over Pogba? Last season Bruno was by far our best player, while this season he is either totally exhausted or other teams have learnt how to play against him. As productive he has been, he loses the ball just as much. Him, Fred and Rashford are probably the 3 most wasteful players of ours.

Ask yourselves who is the best 3 players in city for example? Not only talent and ability wise but also performance wise? I'd guess this will be an easier question to answer.
Martial performed well in general the previous season but he is in terrible form this whole season, Bruno arrived and maintained a relatively high level of performance and he also possess great raw ability talent wise, so perhaps one can argue he is currently our best player. Pogba is perhaps the best in terms of natural talent but he is inconsistent and been injured alot recently. Shaw has been improving for more than 2 seasons and now he's hit top form and might improve even further. Rashford was on top form last season till his back injury, this season despite his excellent numbers he isn't been as good as his form pre the back injury.
If we can't come to an obvious consensus on who are our best 3 players in the team then this might mean we are at least an inconsistent team.
