Bread and cheese make up a good 35% of my diet so I feel really close to him after his today's comments.

Enjoying the downfall of Mourinho, call me bitter all you want, I’m loving it.
I dont think it's bitterness. He is annoying and his methods would annoy any neutral. Pretty much only fans of the club he's managing wouldn't think so.

At this point I think fans of his own club want to see him fail, what a bitter old man he’s become, nothing likeable about him, he’s just a narcissistic old man now days.

Can't be long before he falls out with Levy. Amazing those two haven't done so already.

They can't. Levy will owe him 30m quid if he sacks him so he is stuck with him. I am pretty sure that all channels of communication between the two of them are already closed.

I hate it when people try to play down his prior success as luck. He was an innovator and excellent at what he did.

His achievements at Porto and at Inter have remained unmatched and you are really stretching things if you try to downplay them. They were phenomenal achievements.

His Chelsea team was expensive but it took the PL by storm and raised the standard. He was a titan of his time.

The issue is, his ego hasn’t allowed him to question his methods and approach, and football has moved on. He probably could have learned and evolved and adapted had he allowed himself to, but his ego has got in the way and he is now a relic of the past.

No one can take away his achievements, because no one working in football today has done what he did, but he doesn’t have a place in the modern game anymore.

The very brash confidence and ego which made him so scary as an opponent has become his undoing. He is a victim of his own personality.
You either die a hero or see yourself become the villain?

If he doesn't best pep in the final he is done.
The emergence of Pep is arguably what started Jose down this anti football path, to prove that his methods were better. Pep beating him and being the final nail on the coffin of, what you would think should be Jose’s last job at a top club, would be fitting.

I went to their forum to check out what they were saying last season before we played them. The conversations started out as normal and then it quickly descended into most of them offering to fight each other outside the 'old cock inn' near Spurs ground before the game.

Wasn’t there a report a couple of weeks ago that stated there was an out clause in his contract at a far lower number? I’ll see if I can find it, I could be completely conflating shit though.

No I think the payout will be lesser if he doesn't get into the CL but it isn't significant. Either way, Spurs can't afford to sack him and bring in another manager at this point because he gets paid so much. Do let me know if you find something.

Ole was trolling him hard, reminds me of how Mou used to troll Wenger back in the day. Mou looks and sounds like that same Wenger - clueless, scared, confused and a bit demented. "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a specialist in failure".

As much as it is fun to laugh at idiotic comments from managers, don't see much wrong with that one. Ole said something about Son, and Mourinho replied to it.

It's the lack of ambition in his team's football that truly awful.

Wait a min. @balaks had said Levy is super smart and the most intelligent guy and outsmarted Jose to make him sign "top 4 or fired for free" deal.

It's so beautifully ironic that he's going exactly the Wenger way without Top 4 or the love/attachment from any supporters.

I like the contrast between those who manage to see straight through Mourinho's attempt at deflection, and those that go "THE HOBBIT SAID WHAT!!??!?!" and call Ole a hypocrite. Firstly, Ole didn't criticise diving, he criticised acting injured for several minutes, complete with medical team on the pitch and everything. Secondly, good job getting suckered into focusing on something other than how shit Spurs were, you easily distracted idiots.

I dont think you understood what I was getting at. He has been terrible, but Arteta has been much worse.

Média chase narratives instead of telling it like it is. Mourinho is a spent force, but others get the benefit of the doubt for no particular reason.
Arteta has been extremely disappointing and has gotten a free ride from the media for some reason. I agree with you.

I hope the next time Mourinho employs "gamesmanship" and benefits from it, the oppo manager brings up bread and cheese.

Dig up stupid!
Ole did him a favour by giving him something to whinge about otherwise he'd have been stuck with nothing but the performance to talk about which would have inevitably led to him throwing his team under the bus he's no longer able to park

Take kane out of that side and its top half at best under his guidance

Some of his fans really downplay how shit he is for the clubs, if he got his way, we would have had players like Perisic, Willian, Dier, Rose all stinking up the place, on huge wages and signed for big money.

Not fired for free but there is a break clause if he doesn't make champions League apparently
Castles reported that there's a break clause despite wide spread reports there wasn't.
He has a break clause, but it is nothing to do with Champions League, it's basically a clause whereby Levy can pay a reduced amount to Jose if he decides to sack him, rather than his full contracted amount.
It's pretty clear though that if Spurs don't get Champions League this season then José will be under severe pressure.

Dont think Jose has started demanding signings off Levy yet.

They are not making CL spots, they are struggling to beat a very poor Newcastle side. And barring some crazy ref intervention, random red card, etc, in the Cup final, they are getting rolled there as well. Which is no shame tbf, City are just that good.

I think he is gone at the end of the season whether Spurs win the league cup or not.

Difficult to know exactly whats happened to him but cant see him managing in England again.
I think in his earlier career he connected with players who would run through a brick wall fir him and since winning the title with Chelsea 2nd time with some of his old stalwarts he has really lost the ability to get people bought in.
Also he is hated. Almost a pathological hatred from many and that affects performance - many of the press hate him as well as fans and the refs too. Maybe he lives in a bubble and doesnt fully get it but he really shouldnt have tried to manage in England again

Bookies and pundits had them as 6th best /favourites at the start of the season so in a way they arent so far from par but its about momentum and progress and after a title challenging start to the season they went uber defensive for 3 months after conceding 3 late goals to West Ham - It didnt work and the team seem to have lost all belief and focus since.

He is gone. Maybe he could do a job in serie a but he really should retire and be a pundit.

I have a feeling that in the summer if England don’t do well he could end up managing them.

" I hope he dies, as Levy won't sack this this scumbag ":eek: I don't remember it getting this bad on the Caf
No matter when and at which club, wishing actual harm on someone for footballing matters is a bridge too far.
