Good to see and hope others follow. Now if turns out we are the actual ring leaders to this thing with Joel Glazer being the vice chairman of this super league, punishing Manchester United would be much easier than punishing the 6 teams which makes me a bit worried.

This thing could turn horribly wrong for us very quick.
Yup we’re in too deep, got a feeling we’re getting fecking shafted and rightly so.

A positive could be this could well be the thing that finally gets the glazers out of football.

Hilarious. Why would you ever sign up to something like this only to back out after a couple of days. Pathetic. I'm not complaining, but find it laughable. Just what were they thinking.

As for us, we are in too deep. We will be sanctioned in some way I reckon. Enough to oust the glazers? One can dream.
Don’t give us hope

We're in it until the end, our owner is literally the vice chairman of the ESL. They've done irreversible damage to our name now

Brilliant news. Now I hope the government goes full force and forces through 50+1 to ensure this can never, ever happen again. feck these cnuts. These cnut, greedy, selfish owners have overplayed their hands and now they're about to lose a big part of their cash cows because they they wanted to be more greedy.

Absolutely...hopefully no fecker will do business with the little urchin.
This needs to be remembered. That if this mess collapses our fans don't just forget. This man embarrassed the club with his conniving snake behavior and showed two middle fingers to our fans and history

Kinda feels like someone decided not to rob my house.

I'm glad but there's no credit to be given and what the feck were you even considering it for?
Yeah I have no interest in painting Chelsea as the good guys. Clusterfeck of a decision and it'll be a stain on the club's reputation for a long time but I'm fecking glad they've decided to cut ties before too much damage was done.

Great news!

Also, I can’t help but think what made someone at Chelsea agree to this in the first place? Will head(s) roll and some executive gets sacked as a result?

We probably are, aren’t we? It’s most likely us, Madrid, Barca, and Arsenal who are the most ardent on this nonsense.
They say it's United, Real and Juventus that are driving this so we will be the last to leave. But we need Chelsea and City to leave and put a doubt into all the other English clubs. Including Liverpool, I think they could leave as well with Klopp being much more vocal internally.

Let's see the Glazers, Kroenke and FSG Group's reactions now.

United will pull out last, this might just serve to get the media actively talking about what scumbags the Glazer's are.

If so it is almost worthwhile. Manchester United did not sign up for a Super League, Joel Glazer and Ed Wooodward did.

Chelsea and City will end up looking better than the rest at least, United and Liverpool have no room to move, it's been pretty cpear that us, them, Real, Barca and Juve are at the head of the snake.
Only if we dig our heels in. If everyone packs up and leaves there's shit on everyone's shoes. However I do think you're right. We are part of the 'organisers'.

We're the baddies now aren't we? I understand it was ownership and not the players/coaches/etc, but how did they think they would sell it even? Yeah we make money while hundreds of teams in the FA employing 10s of thousands of people would be at the brink. This hurts.
