Now Chelsea and City have withdrawn from the ESL and nothing yet from United, has the reputation of this great club gone down the pan and can it be recovered?

No, just the Glazers and Woodward. But they were already at rock bottom anyway.

No, but I don’t see many other clubs wanting to deal with Woodward ever again.

It has certainly been badly damaged, there's no question there.

And in particular our owner and CEO's reputation with UEFA and other clubs has been trashed. Which is great, because that's what they are.

No just the reputation of Glazers and Woodward. Same goes for every club involved. They're the ones with the control and power.

Think all of these clubs will be shamed still. Probably right too.

Everyone who cares to know about this thing will know it's the American owners pulling this. The majority of 'fans' globally would probably not even know this happened or forget in a couple of months.

Unfortunately, I feel like this won't be the last time these cretins try to drag our name in the mud.

Maybe it will help our cause in the long run. Feels like nobody cared when we said how bad and evil the owners really are. They have shown their colours to the whole footballing world now.

No, just the absolute assholes that own us and their puppet Ed Woodward. We knew this all along, now the world knows they're fecking leeches.

United are bigger than those cnuts Glazers and Woodward.

I hope that this debacle signals the end of at least Woodward reign at the club. He and the Glazers embarrassed us with their greed.

I think the saving grace is that apparently our players kicked off, our fans definitely did, Sir Alex Ferguson condemned it and I would not be surprised if Ole actively opposed it to Woodward.

It really paints a picture that it is basically 2 men in influence who do not represent the culture of the club. If having a shit owner tarnishes our reputation then it has been in the gutter for 18 years.

The cnuts in charge have dragged the Manchester United name through the gutter, they've gone too far now and they needed to be hounded out of the club ASAP

I think it’s just reinforced the idea that owners and clubs are separate entities bound by a contract.

Woodward and the Glazers will never recover from this, United will.

I like to think most people know who those responsible are. The actions of a few hopefully won’t be held against the club. I don’t think any less of the other teams apart from the people at the top.

I may be wrong, but I think most people who are likely to voice an opinion are aware that the owners, not the fans wanted this. I hope that'll be what is remembered for posterity

It just brings the clubs ownership back to the forefront. We need these spineless parasites out of the club. They are not Manchester United and never will be!

This club has been one of the few things to give me pleasure throughout the past year and the scum who run it have done their best to ruin even that!

Yes, it will forever be used as a stick to beat us with.

Chelsea and City will have the caveat of being the clubs who quickly came to their senses. Us, Liverpool and the other two non-entities will be the putrid little rats who clung on for the money.

The club is not Ed Woodward and the owners, even though they have the decision power. The players have stood up and the fans will too.

United, no.

The Glazers, yes.

I feel like most Man Utd fans... settled down... regarding their ownership after our 07-09, success.

Now though - it's obvious they need to go. It may take 5 years of 10 or 20 but United needs to be 50% controlled by its fans.

I still think UEFA should come down hard and ban all the clubs from europe for 3 years.

kick The remaining ones out this season too.

The Glazers reputation, yes. The club, no.

For once I implore match going fans to genuinely try to boycott the club, give them an as empty as possible Old Trafford until they sell.

Yes but there will be more appreciation of how bad these owners are for football.

The clubs have been dragged through the mud because of the owners, but sadly its the club that will suffer. The trust is gone, and there will be a lot of rebuilding of relations to do within the league. That will, of course, be left to the manager and players etc as Woodward and Glazers will be hands off.

That won't happen.

Firstly they would get sued into the ground and secondly the president was begging them to rethink and saying it is not too late earlier today.

Not only won't that happen, they will also get a higher revenue share under the new model.

The fans have always made it very clear we don't accept or support the Glazers, and by proxy Woodward.

Liverpool fans in recent years have heralded FSG for returning them to the top, but they were very quick to turn on them when this happened, and rightly so. I wonder if they'll be able to repair their reputation with their own fans?

It will be seen as the Glazers dragging United's name throught the mud.

For 15 years 99.9% of people associated with United have enabled the Glazers and attacked anyone that criticised them. That changes now - nobody in their right mind would publicky back them now.

For me, yes, as long as Woodward and the Glazers are still our sole representatives/decision-makers. The fact they pulled their own strings to orchestrate the whole idea and push the agenda strongly, it's just despicable.

They leaked out they were leaving minutes before the others! Seems this was a coordinated effort.

This was the third attempt, to my knowledge, to form a so called super league, it seems to come around every 10 years or so but hopefully the ghastly Glazers will have been long gone by 2031 lol!

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
SAF came out against it and three of our players were the highest profile ones to do so on social media. The Glazers aren’t now and will never be Manchester United. Now it’s time for working class hero Boris to kick them out.
