Sad thing is all these clubs, especially I am concerning about united, after calling them bluff have now lost respect and leverage within UEFA.
They’ll lose nothing from this. The CL is nothing without these teams. This has been a ploy from the beginning to get better terms.

Has there been any fan action in Manchester, at OT or elsewhere? Liverpool and Chelsea supporters doing some good stuff here.

It's done. All 12 clubs are meeting tonight to discuss disbanding it.
What is there to discuss. There is no face saving option.
I am delighted that Chelsea and Man City have done what they have done.
Shame on the Glaziers.
Stupidity sums them up.

Does anyone know the outcome of the 14 Premier league teams meeting today. Wonder if that also played a part
A statement was made that they oppose and reject the Super League, but no clear next steps. (if I recall correctly)

The CL is a glorified FA Cup set to music

Its the Silicone valley disrupter mentality. You saw it on a small scale with The Athletic. In the early days the CEO openly said that he wanted to destroy the local news beat, or words to that effect. The Yank capitalists see it as a route to progress.
I follow a couple of techies, who were all for this. "Disruptive" they said.

Glad this isn't going ahead.

But the cat is out of the bag - these type of people (Glazer, Perez etc.) cannot be involved in football. They do not love and appreciate the game - they are leeches and need removing.

Will be a shame if this falls apart by teams chickening out and withdrawing.

This was a real opportunity for the government to get involved and get rid of all these cnuts who have bought English football clubs over the last 20 years.

At this point the longer we stay in the better for us fans. This thing has clearly gone tits up and now it’s just a case of seeing how much pressure is on Woodward and the Glazers when all is said and done.

Saying that while you are sitting in your 10m castle bought by the oil gulf money. That is why I hate the hypocrisy of footballers. Where were you yesterday? or you knew your club is pulling out now you have the chance?
Has the European football aristocracy ever collectively drowned in a sea of gross hypocrisy the likes we’ve seen these past few days?

A veritable shower of cnuts all round.

That’s probably why they are withdrawing. They’ve been told the consequences.

Feck, hope this doesn't stop the law makers create a legislation to make that 50 +1 rule.
