I'm glad Telles got in there when he did (we need Cavani for the final), but I love it. Seems like Cavani is loving football again, after that stretch there where it seemed like it was a chore for him

He’s a total winner like Bruno. We still have too many highlights players for my liking. Gotta fight for everything and I don’t see the rest of our forwards busting a gut working for each other or even trying to find each other. We are 1 dimensional without him.

Glade to see that. We need players like that to step up when needed. McTominay is usually the one that jumps in but good to see Cavani with that fire. Ole needs to find a way to convince him to stay for at least another year. We'd take a big hit if he were to go.

Beautiful to see. I don't know whether it's conformation bias clouding my judgement but in our worst days post-Fergie I don't think this basic kind of team spirit stuff has been happening. Yes you could argue it's handbags that players don't need to involve themselves in but for me sticking up for your teammates on a basic level is part and parcel of every level of football.
