Got 50 point lead in my mini league, so I guess it was safe?
Got these differences from the 2nd place
Shaw vs Dallas
Fernandes vs Rashford
Greenwood vs Willock
Raphinha vs Harrison
Vydra vs Bamford

Got 1 FT and enough money, any opinion on who to transfer? I think I can straight swap for Dallas / Bamford if I want to block him, or is it better to get Robertson / Mane for Shaw / Fernandes since I don't know what team will Ole play .
Won't be chasing Overall Rank too because I think I will be stuck around 90k sadly
You could use a -12 and still cruise it out!

Mendy
Alioski Holding TAA
Mane Salah Harrison Lingard
Wood Antonio Kane

Bench: Pickford, Greenwood, Shaw, Coleman

How does this look :D
The story about a potential racism charge for Alioski seems to have totally disappeared, so that's safe.

Just a case of does Greenwood start, and if he does does he have anyone who can pass him the ball!

UK, hun?
Get out of here with your sizeable lead and forgotten free hit. This is only for us desperate folk
I put it down to my mates being pants as opposed to me being any good, mate.
Love a final day free hit. If I was doing one it would probably be something like ....

Ederson
TAA - Cresswell - Dallas
Salah - Mane - Lingard - Raphinha
Bamford - Antonio - Wood

Seems weird to duck the Leicester v Spurs game but that could be quite edgy and I've no idea what way it will go. Spurs looked clueless yesterday though. Bale will almost certainly start. Maybe he'd be a good FH punt over Lingard. Can't really ignore the form of Willock either.
Yehhhh this guy knows. Strong team that.

In second chasing first by 25. Should have closed the gap so far as he doesn't have Salah and I've been captaining him but he keeps blanking. Don't have much hope now. Just did a quick double switch and locked the final team in.

Areola
TAA, Robertson, Dallas
Salah (C), Son, Lingard, Raphinha
Kane, Antonio, Watkins

Martinez, Alioski, Greenwood, Holding

If Greenwood is not starting I am considering a -4. Thus Greenwood and Digne out for Robertson and cheap mid or Kane to Antonio and Greenwood to Mane.

I do not love selling Kane though and Mane I do not fully trust this season.

Can't see us dipping that far down the squad.
Probably be a Leicester job, with possibly Greenwood in there.
Hopefully 1st half job and not 2nd half job (v Leicester).

The 2nd half v Leicester was mainly because they just strolled past M&M in midfield.

You're probably right but Wolves in an end of season game would be useful for him.. get some more PL mins and a gentle tester to see what he's picked up on loan. If Mata leaving (and we know Matic isn't up to it), getting skinny in midfield.

At some point, I'll be asking for FPL advice for final week push. All suggestions (that make up 10 points) gratefully received.

Don't do a -4 for a cheap player (unless decent fixture). If going to take hit, make it worthwhile?

Oh we're not even close to the mad run in to the last game yet. We have 2 whole days to sniff around the net looking for any indicators first!

Playing "Wolves 0" is probably lower risk than playing Leicester, but can see it being a darn awful scoreless soulless one.

I'd just like to know with Greenwood, as if he's out I can nicely field Salah-Son-Pereira-Lingard-Kane-Watkins-Antonio.

Otherwise I have an arsehole of a decision on who he gets in over.

Could always play him knowing if not playing, sub kicks in (but danger of cameo?)

Else drop Son (or Lingard). Spurs look as bad as we do recently but at least Kane takes penalties

Yeah I should probably just bench Greenwood and start with Watkins. Just with Mendy in goal I want maximum potential for last gameweek. Could play Martinez and Watkins. I think Villa got a decent chance to win, but Chelsea still expected to score I think.

You are right though there is probably not anyone worth a -4. Robertsson could be, but Palace been decent in attack.

I think if Son was a consideration to leave out, i'd consider doing a -4 to bring Mane in, and put Shaw or Castagne down to whoever.

Think if we don't hear anything, i'll have to start Greenwood. And bench Watkins, and hope my rival chooses him as his benchee.

Last week I benched Watkins.

He got the same points as Son, Kane, Greenwood and Harrison (my tfr in) put together.

Was such a needless give away for Tottenham. Reguillon had 2 chances just to punt it down the line to safety, yet somehow it ricocheted to him, and he shrugged off Dier and poked in. Still a bit upset.

This is essential.

Hits are usually worth it over the course of a few weeks but for one game, you're massively gambling.

I know what you mean. Stupid things like that play in your head over and over.

I keep seeing Rudiger jump and thigh the ball into the net every time i close my eyes

There's nothing quite as sickening in fantasy footy as a rival getting a defender scoring.
It's why I'm tempted to shut the Dallas door this weekend!

I know it is a last week punt I say though for fun. I think unless I get like 30 points with the average around 60 I have secured my best ever position.
I am very much safe in top 10 k as well which was my aim and my best from before was 9k. I could reach top 1k, but then I need a huge differential captain or something that goes mad.

I think I will mix safe and attack. My last transfers a bit more agressive, but still going Salah cap since I think he is the best bet.

Well you can still have better ideas than me for this week and might have done better recently.

I was in the top 10k after my bench boost in 19. Had Stones, Dias and got 137 points then so gave a huge boost. Went from 15 k to 3 k even without Antonio.

Since then it has mainly gone up and down.

My biggest hero though is Luca Digne. He got 6/7 returns for my team. 5/7 clean sheets. I think I got lucky at having him at the right times.

Biggest failure is Antonio. I have just managed to dodge most of his returns and then he got injured two times. To be fair I replaced him with Nacho last time so could have been a blessing in disguise. Nacho with two goals straight away.

What is the situation? Does your rival have Salah?

If you are ahead then I say go Salah either if your rival have him or not.

If behind you could try to go with a captain your rival do not have. Of course if he do not have Salah 100% go for him.

Be interesting to see what price they put on Kane when he's at City next season. Expect his ownership will be around 70 to 80%

Thing is, if Kane goes to City, you're essentially paying top dollar for a player that will be a part of the Pep roulette and therefore cant be trusted as captain.

I've got a wilcard left, and I could really use some input.
I am number one in me and my mates league, and surely have to bring it home with a wildcard in hand. I only have a narrow lead though, so I have to play it fairly safe.

I'm going to leave out the main outlets from United, but feel free to hit me with team suggestions!

He'll have De Bruyne and Dias status surely. One rest every blue moon job.
Though he does get at least one injury a season. This year was only a month or so.

Still to be seen if he goes to City Though. They'd have to double their transfer record.

Analysing the rival then - players the same in CAPS

Martinez Meslier
COUFAL Dallas Dias Lindelof Godfrey
SALAH SON LINGARD Willock Bruno
KANE WATKINS Nacho

His options look to be
Mane or Bamford in for Bruno or Watkins.

Am a little nervous, remembering this game https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55268080

My PODs are TAA, Pereira, Antonio. I also have Greenwood but i'd need to risk leaving Watkins out (who he has, and who spanked me for 9 last week)

The 2 options leaping out at me are still 1)Dallas - match up, 2)Robertson - so hard on a cleany/attacking points smashfest.
3) Watkins to Bamford another potential, and play Holding with TAA/Coufal in my 3.

Dallas would scare me the most out of them this week. I might even captain him. I fancy Palace to get a goal with all their attacking lately. 3 is all about whether he makes the same transfer or not..

Yeah think Dallas is my favourite right now. It means I can do Shaw to him, keeping Castagne as a playing sub if things go unexpectedly. Whereas id have had to.do Castagne to Robertson with Shaw dead Weight.

Pereira seems to now be an injury doubt so that might solve the who to leave out for Greenwood issue.

Need to make up 8 points, think im gonna chance Wood as captain. Other options the guy above me doesnt have, Sigurdsson, Greenwood, Robertson, Watkins. Whos most likely to bang in a few.

Alisson
TAA Robertson Cresswell
Son Sigurdsson Greenwood Lingard
Wood Kane Watkins

Martinez, Foden, Dias, Mee
