You need to read the criticism aimed at him today and before again. It's not about sloppy passes or decision making. For the record, Marcus is the one I really want to perform as he is someone we all should be really proud of. And he would be the perfect talisman for our future.

Has the right mentality but I don’t think he has the ability to be a starting forward in a league & champions league contending team. It would take a brave man to bench him, but I think if Sancho does come in Rashford’s days as a starter should end. He plays badly way more than he plays well. We can’t afford that if we want to progress.

He has the ability when he's focused and fully fit, but he's being played beyond his physical limits and is understandably physically and mentally exhausted.

Signing Sancho or Grealish would give us genuine competition for places and I am confident Rashford has the mentality to respond well to such a challenge.
