Would you feel better about United losing if city had bought their first CL tonight?
I'd feel better if people in the caf weren't complete balloons, some of the replies last night show how far we've slipped, pure rawk. I'm glad City didn't win the cl but don't feel we are in a position to be laughing. Not exactly overjoyed Chelsea are a cl behind us either. Maybe we should concentrate on ourselves, people in glass houses throwing stones ect.

Plenty mate, just find this thread comically bad when they get to a final we couldn't get past the group stages of. But if that makes you all sleep better at night and ignore what's happening with our club, go ahead.
But by your logic every single fan in the country needs to sit stony-faced watching teams lose finals. They couldn't laugh at City last night, they couldn't even laugh at United the other night because where was their Europa final? We're getting told City are the massivest, classiest most laudable enterprise since David Attenborough started making nature documentaries and we can't take pleasure in them coming unstuck? I don't see that at all.

After that shit performance we put out on Wednesday, we have no right to laugh at anybody I think.

Bloody dull way to enjoy football if you deem yourself not allowed to take pleasure in rivals messing up. Doesn't mean happiness and total acceptance of Utd's current lack of trophies if you laugh at City losing the biggest game in club football.

Pep not playing a defensive midfield player against Havertz and Mount is hilarious. He should be criticised for it but he won't.

Pissed myself laughing at Scott Carson going up to collect his runner up medal.

Does the City fan go back to booing the Champions League anthem now?

Seen a couple of people mention how RAWKish some of these replies are and it hits the nail on the head.

Can’t stand City and delighted they got beaten but hardly the time for any of us to be gloating.

We just lost against Villareal in the European Mickey Mouse cup and fluked our way into second place.
Yeah, let's all laugh at City for winning the premier league and losing a champions league final when we didn't even manage to leave the group stages.

Pathetic mindset imo. We should be focused on ourselves and how we can improve to be better than the others, instead of laughing at teams that are miles ahead of us for losing a champions league final.
Or we can do both.....

And so our enemies were defeated
the media could not taste what Pep excreted
and while we finished second
a new season beckons
as now and back then
we go again.

RAWK enough for ya?

These fans who can’t laugh at City because we didn’t win the league or whatever...

Who are these people? I swear I have never met a fellow United fan in real life who is this much of a misery... the most depressing kind of fans they must be. Imagine being that much of a drain.

Celebrated that Chelsea goal like it was United. Feck it, we're all football fans. We're allowed to be hypocritical and there's definitely no need to show any faux class or dignity.

We have been concentrating on ourselves. The Caf has been whipping itself raw since we lost on Wednesday, finding a million and one ways to ask the same question, 'How did we manage to feck that up?'

It's not like anyone's blind to where we are. It's possible to bemoan your own failings while laughing at a rival's.

Your path seems to say that nobody can enjoy anything unless United are the top dogs. So even if we'd won on Wednesday we still wouldn't be able to laugh at City last night.

That just isn't the way most football fans work.

In general there is a cultural disconnect in a segments of the online fanbase who although are fans of the club, have no knowledge or respect for the footballing traditions and grass roots fan culture that the club they purport to support, grew out from.

That’s the thing though; in the social media age everything is binary, and there’s an army of New Puritan zealots actively looking for ways to plant guilt and self-loathing all around them.

Throughout the match I was despondent about how far off the pace these teams make United look. That didn’t stop me enjoying Agüero’s tears in a 100% guilt-free manner. Simple really!

Not surprised by the result. Despite all the hype I have never watched them this season and seen an elite side there, strong squad has carried them but they have had much better starting 11's in recent years.
Have to agree, they were good not great this season. Even against PSG I didn't see a convincing performance.

"Oh look! A thread called 'Let's all laugh at City.' I must go onto it, and tell everyone that I don't want to, because I am better than them."
"I might even use it to have a pop at our manager, who was in no way involved at all."

City's the English PSG.

1 Billion spent in 10 years and they have the same UCL titles as Burnley.

I say laugh and laugh, City fans were gloating when we lost on Wednesday.
Let's be honest that's what supporting different teams means, everyone laughs, chuckles or even makes fun of the team that loses especially if its in a big game.

Anyone getting offended by it really needs thicker skin tbh, you take the highs and lows.
Its pure comical that since City hired Pep and he's spent £840m and 2 English clubs have won the Champions league.
Bring on next season.

Weird bastards who can’t take pleasure in our city rivals ballsing up the final with the so called best ever manager trying to be clever and basically having Tuchel slapping his German sausage all over Pep’s chops.

I’m still fecking gutted we lost to an average but well drilled Spanish side on Wednesday but I am still pissing my sides at last night. Watching the Berts all crying in the fanzone in Portugal was great viewing.

Honestly, I just struggle to take pleasure in anything given the state we've been in since fergie left. Call it whatever you want but its not in me to delight in others misery specially when we've been right miserable thruout. They lost a CL final to another english side lest we forget. We managed 1 shot at goal against Villareal in the tin pot cup final. :houllier:

Exaxtly. Surely no one really cares about Citeh, it's not like they're the dippers.

So, a bit of light hearted laughs knowing for all they're dominance in the EPL, they can't get hold of Ok Big Ears, is quite frankly hilarious. Poor Citeh

Do you know what else is hilarious? City have no legends so the camera operator always has to look out for Oasis in the crowd for shots.

Will the small time cnuts go back to booing the competition from next season?

Expect them to spunk £200 million on four new fullbacks and £100 million+ on Kane/ Haaland bankrolled by their new Abu Dhabi condom sponsorship.

Guess what guys, despite us winning nothing this year, I'm still laughing at the feck that Citeh have fecked it up yet again in Europe. And I'll probably still be laughing in an hour's time even though I "have no right to laugh at City". Cause I can and will. What are you gonna do about it?

Poor you.
You probably had a novel prepared for weeks worshipping your hero Pep and shitting on United and SAF, waiting to post it here the moment City win the final. Now you have to bin it. Sincere condolences.
