Television Funniest single episode of a sitcom ever

Love it. Liked quite a few later episodes individually as well but the BTE trilogy I will always hate.

The really early ones are my favourites, there was so much going on in them, so funny, so poignant and so clever. Much more than what it appeared to be on the surface.

All so good but If I had to choose one particular episode, which is a very difficult choice, it would have to be body swap or Thanks for the memory or something.

Jerry's fault! Jerry's fault! Jerry's fault!

L'il Sebastian and Two Parties have to be up there too.

Also Stress Relief from The US Office

And yeah, you could pick almost any Father Ted episode.

Stress Relief is incredible. Dwight's fire drill, the bit with the CPR dummy and the scene at corporate with Dwight and Michael are three of the best scenes in the whole show, all in the same episode.

I think almost any Father Ted episode would be up there but this one in particular

Also Queeg - there are so many

I've always loved the quarantine one, where Rimmer ends up dressed like a little girl with the puppet.

Not been mentioned yet. People who do nothing, anything Chabuddy does cracks me up. I use the term ‘tech head’ on a daily basis now for anyone who pisses me off. Can’t wait for the movie.

It would be something from Father Ted, too many good ones to choose from.

What We Do In The Shadows had some hilarious ones. Werewolf Fued, The Trial and Baron's Night Out were all classics.

The rabbits episode of Father Ted and the episode of the Thick of It when they have a lockdown because there's speculation that Nicola is launching a leadership bid.

Krazee Eyez Killah had me the first time I watched it.... like at 3AM too, which didn't go down well at the time.

Absolutely. Add to this the episodes in which Niles and Frasier open a restaurant and Flour Child.

Also Dungeons & Dragons - Community.
The restaurant one is brilliant. All episodes with Niles and Frasier hosting a party are great, really.

Some cracking episodes of shows have been mentioned. Instead of repeating what's already been said, I'll nominate a couple of classics:

Dads Army, when they have to guard the captured Germans. They end up taking their order for fish and chips, which always cracks me up.

Steptoe and Son. They have a falling out and divide up the house, connected by a turnstile that you have to put a coin in. A fire breaks out and the fire brigade don't have change for the turnstile.

Rick and Morty- The vat of acid episode
The office- Stress relief
Peep show- Sectioning
Always sunny- Nightman Cometh
Fawlty towers- The Germans

It’s not their best or smartest, but I loved the world war z spoof in South Park, where they replaced the zombies with Cartman’s delusional fear of Black Lives Matter protests.

Seinfeld - The Pool Guy
The Office (US) - Stress Relief
Frasier - The Two Mrs Cranes
Parks and Rec - The Fight
Steptoe and Son - Upstairs, Downstairs, Upstairs, Downstairs
Father Ted - Are You Right There Father Ted?
IT Crowd - The Work Outing
I'm Alan Partridge - Basic Alan
Flight of the Conchords - Mugged
What We Do in the Shadows - Manhattan Night Club
Broad City - Two Chainz
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - Frank Reynolds’ Little Beauties
The Larry Sanders Show - Off Camera
Taxi - Elegant Iggy
15 Stories High - Blue Rat
Arrested Development - Pier Pressure
Black Books - Manny Come Home
Bottom - Gas
Friday Night Dinner - The Fox
Peep Show - Shrooming
The Simpsons - Homer the Heretic
Fawlty Towers - Communication Problems
Mighty Boosh - The Nightmare of Milky Joe
Schitt's Creek - Family Dinner

I obviously watch a lot of sitcoms. Some I've forgotten, and even more I can't choose a favourite/funniest episode.
