It’s a weird one. It’s going to be amazing because he’s their best player and we really need him but there’s very little joy left in the signing, even of such a baller with his best years ahead. I guess when he starts performing it’ll fully sink in. This is the signing I’ve wanted most for 3 years and no excitement left for it. Mad…

It's just the most obvious transfer ever, and everyone expects it to happen. Would be indeed hilarious if after another 150 big days nothing happens. But relax, it will.

Did you mess up the Gotze transfer when you refused to meet Dortmund’s demands and then came back in the next summer for cheaper (free)?

They did the groundwork and the monitoring last year. This year is all about preparing the bid
Next year will be all about the negotiations and being close. Then in 2023, when he's a free agent, he'll finally sign for Bayern.

Ha ha. Only joking. He loves calling things "B Tech"
What's mind-boggling is that he has nearly as many subs as AFTV.

I mean AFTV has an array of characters on the platform, from the annoying to the rationale.

Mark's channel is basically the occasional Flex (who I like) and Goldbridge who I can't stand. Mark knows feck-all about the tactics or analysis and is basically a shrill.

Villa would want the same type of money for Grealish that Dortmund will be asking for Sancho so it's more like for like. Rafina would probably be another 35-40m and on top of that you know that Leeds would rather cut off their own nose than sell us another player after Cantona. It would be like Liverpool selling us a player. Not Going to Happen.

Now....if you said this. Grealish brought in to replace Pogba, i'd fcking bite your fingers off for that bloody deal.
Rio Ferdinand and Alan Smith say hello.

Here’s a free life tip. If you open your mouth or type or write anything, make sure you know what the feck you’re talking about.

Im not meaning to be a cnut, just be weary that people will call you out on nonsense

How hard can't be to agree a deal with a certain fee before the season end. We had a full year to gather, prepare, submit or do any other chore. I thought Joel meeting aligned with Sancho Signing very well. I genuinely felt that at least we could do a Fabregas to Chelsea and announce it from far away. It was the perfect way to end the week. not 'start fresh' talks. The club vague demeanor and Joel pointless meting were a massive let down once again. So what's the expectancy among the realist of United fans. Will he sign before the Euros? it's weird how quite it is. still buzzing from Rashy's tweet which giving me enough energy to coup with United's muppetry in the market.

ooh ffs....i know Rio came from Leeds as did Smudger but that was almost 20 years ago and Leeds have been in the basic shithouse since they sold Rio and Smudger.

No fvcking chance after finally making it back to the Premier League that they'll agree a deal with United for a player that Bielsa absolutely loves. They may sell him to someone else but not United.

Nice try though for trying to be a massive donkey

Bit of a cuntey post though tbh, OP is right, the Rio signing was almost 20 years ago, it means nothing in todays market. The Premier League has changed a lot since then, we can't just buy everyone's best players the way we were able to. Everyone's got the TV money now and there's less incentive to sell.

This is taking on Wesley Sneijder level transfer drama and the links to United. It's quite remarkable that these journalists and social media personnel continue to regurgitate the same shit each week without actually adding anything new to the saga.

There is no question the talent this kid possesses at such a young age and it would really be foolish on our part to haggle, like we're Daniel Levy, over 10m quid difference in evaluation. You'll make up that money 5 times over in the first two of his contract.

Would be a sight seeing him and rashford on opposite sides with their running at players ability and ffs if you add Grealish to that mix....
Is the Sneijder thread in the classics?
Some monumental threads over the years Re: Transfer Sagas and Muppets

A personal favourite was Berbatov and De Ligt

Anyone expecting Manchester United to do a swift 80 million plus deal probably underestimates how the club's marketing department loves to generate social media interaction and attention by doing these bigger deals quite late. There has been a clear pattern with these big name signings over the past many years. I don't think it has as much to do with complex nature of the deal as it has to do with the need for United to be constantly talked about on various platforms.

They’d be talked about more if they did a few deals in record time so that we can sit back and relax, watching our new players get injured at the euros
