Wouldn't be surprised. Look at the scenes in Serbia, Conga lines and all drinking. Hardly got slated for that at the time. Were celebrating the draw with England bigtime as well. Nothing occurred there, yet some Aberdeen players were slated for going to a restaurant together. Rangers players got 5-7 game bans for attending parties.

Clear picture of Gilmour close to Clarke's face, he should be isolating 100%
It's very unfair to be honest. If they haven't been able to social distance then I'm sorry but they only have themselves to blame. You can't lie about these things. Face to face contact like that is mandatory isolation based on PH guidelines.

Wonder who comes in for Gilmour.

I’d guess Armstrong.
Yeah, probably, with McGregor and McGinn dropping deeper. I don't really want McTominay as the 6 again.

When it comes to the Scotland national team and the fans, it seems the rules and authority goes out the window with the SFA/SG. Although I do appreciated it's England health board dealing with this.
Well aye the Scottish team and fanbase escape a lot of the political wrath the clubs have to deal with.

It's not at all. There's people are professionals and should be setting the very best example.

I'm very disappointed in all of this.
Being life or death is dramatic I think.

I agree it’s wrong but since when has anyone from football been any good at setting examples, bunch of man babies set away from real life.

Dropping McGinn back will hurt his attributes in my view, but McTominay needs to stay CB. A real shame Jack had to be injured for this tournament. Personally I would rather Fraser was behind the front two if McGinn is dropped back, instead of Armstrong. But that will never happen.

I think what is more disappointing is that the Scotland camp are blatantly lying about it so they don't sacrifice their Euros. Ultimately you just can't do that as it shows a total lack of honesty and integrity.

I agree again, the whole tournament is laughable taking place through this pandemic though. Players running into crowds, travelling around Europe, teams playing with players outside their bubbles. Corner kicks and all the holding and grabbing and close contact is laughable if it was really that serious. It’s a mess and should never have gone ahead if people were serious about Covid. This just adds to it, I can’t help laughing that no one in Scotland squad has come into close contact with gilmour.

Chelsea (the saviours of football) fan.
Andy Robertson deleting his instagram video of them mucking about after the England game is a bit silly. Did he really think it wouldn't get saved and shared by everyone?

Agreed. Think ultimately given our lack of goals it's better to include a Christie/Turnbull/Armstrong/Fraser figure than a more limited defensive player. Thought McGregor looked okay there against England from recollection. As you say Jack would have been perfect.

I just feel totally disappointed by this whole thing.

The Scotland team are clearly lying about who were close contacts.

Funnily enough, when a Celtic player got COVID, 13 first team players had to isolate. A Scotland player gets it and there's not one close contact despite the squad celebrating like they'd just won the World Cup out on the pitch. That all stopped when they got in the dressing room. None of the players interacted with Gilmour thereafter. Nope, no sir, not even a single one.

Oh, what's that? Robertson and McGinn were playing table tennis with him? I remember Ryan Christie had to isolate and miss the Old Firm game because he played the Playstation with Stuart Armstrong who later came down with COVID. Christie claimed they were sat more than 2 meters apart the entire time. Obviously Gilmour was at a sufficient distance the entire time and brought his own custom paddle too! What are the chances?!

Cheats.

Need any kind of victory tonight, hopefully the English score a few against the Czechs meaning we go through in second rather than third.
Lets get a victory first though lads.

We need the Czechs to beat England by a few rather than the other way around.

TBH, I don’t care if we go through in 2nd place or 3rd place. Just qualifying from the group itself will be a massive success. Anything after that is a bonus.

It's clear they haven't though. Even Clarke was face to face with him when he came off.

Just absolute lies. Very selfish and it stinks given what everyone has been though during the pandemic.
Haha give me a break. Jesus Christ.

Then UEFA should have done something about that and they haven't, so why are you blaming Scotland for that?
As they have lied. Contact tracing works by people being honest and naming their close contacts. It's quite clear this hasn't been done by Scotland and there's video and photographic evidence to show it

Pretty low whichever way you want to view it

Uefa have seen the photos and videos and haven’t done anything. Blame them, not Scotland.
