The Dortmund fans who were gloating last summer are suspiciously absent this time around. A very good sign indeed.

Sancho is coming. Good times ahead.

Dortmund should throw that 85m at Saka. Arsenal will sell because they're spineless cnuts. Make him a proper player.

85m Euros all in would be a great price for Sancho considering they wanted 120m last year and Havertz went for similar officially (but probably more).

Edit - put in a winning the champions league bonus for 10m.

You have to also take into consideration Sancho may come here as a RWF, but a few years down the line could easily move inside or be placed on the left. He's eclectic, so not bound to any particular role, which makes him even more valuable as you're getting a multi-positional player who is chief understudy to a number of roles whilst playing whatever one he's deployed in in a given run of games.

I don't think there's a single thing wrong in having a preference for a different kind of wide player, but if they aren't an equivalent level of talent to Sancho, you have to question what the benefit then is when you have Greenwood and the two teenagers to come in over the next few years who could rival anything in the £40m-£60m bracket themselves.
True. I'd correct myself, it's winger or wing-forward. And eventually, like most, best player would be bounded on certain position. But that's maybe another 5 years for Sancho.

Your second paragraph is a very good point. Although it shouldn't prevent us to get a ready made WF or winger because of those young players. Other than Greenwood, the rest look so far away from ready to challenge the first team.

A deal including DVB would be a win-win situation. Would love to see Sancho incoming for €50m + DVB.

In the meantime I love to see that Gareth represents United in the mind game with Dortmund :D He is loyal to British interests.

DVB would actually suit Sancho. If we get a better CDM I could see DVB getting plenty of minutes.

So we’ve knocked them down €10m. How did that happen?
Its the "new" offer that was made a few days ago and german media only says that now the deal is close to be done because as everyone said here aswell the fee isnt far of what Dortmund wants so its likely happening. So its basicly no new information. I am pretty sure that the missing 10m€ are in with simple addons (like +5m after 50 games and +5m after 100 games or something like that) because they had the same with Dembele. And I wouldnt wonder if there are additions on top if United wins the league/CL in the next 5 years. So if I would guess I`d say 85m guaranteed +10m in easy addons +xm unlikely addons

How can anyone take these 2 attention seeking 'ITK' chancers seriously... Jan Aage Fjortoft and Fabrizio Romano are best described as the Pied Piper's for transfer muppets.

Funny thing is they are reporting the bid the British press reported days ago.

Getting this done really does sort the top of the pitch for at least another year. Puts a lot of eggs in the Greenwood shaped basket, but if we can't trust him we can't claim to trust the youth.

-Sancho-Fernandes-Rashford-
----------Cavani/Greenwood------

That's not bad at all, and a huge amount of progress in a relatively short amount of time.

Now, get a DMF and we can talk.

... I mean, yeah, they're not going to give him to us for free?
Missing the point, this is the 3rd summer we're after him and the same was said last summer. It will happen.... well we didn't pay what they asked then and maybe we won't now.
