What am I even watching... We're bossing France. We're playing so well I'm not even trusting this...
did not know that game will be played in London, he can organize the bus ride home then.I know London is big, but plane rides between districts ? Sounds silly mate.
Of all the teams left in the competition, I reckon the French wouldn't care less If they played England at WembleyCan’t imagine France want to play England either.
The problem was the midfield... and it is a lot better now as Moutinho and Sanches came in.
Punch the ball, not the head. He is allowed to go for it, but he should be careful with his aim.But a keeper is allowed to punch the ball. Whats he supposed to do there, not go for it? Maybe De Gea was the wisest all along
Players are allowed kick the ball. They're not allowed kick each other. But a keeper is allowed to punch the ball. Whats he supposed to do there, not go for it? Maybe De Gea was the wisest all along
I have to see it again but it looked like he just got there first in my opinion but you could be right. He didn’t get the ball. He completely missed it. It just so happened that it then deflected onto his hand afterwards.
Justified in my opinionRonaldo's faces when any of his teammates have a shot or do anything instead of passing to him
With all this talent, it must be even more excruciating for the French fans than even for England fans like me!France football is hard to watch.
Keeper touched the ball before he hit the player. If that is now a pen then many close melees between the attacker and keeper will end in pen. Had keeper missed the ball and hit the player then yes, def pen. Touch the ball first then no way should it be a pen.Lloris got it as it came of danilos head
Italy definitely 1st IMO, but Spain 2nd yeah.Spain are the best coached side of all the “big sides” in the tournament. If they can be a bit more lethal, they would go far.
Actually a replay on a different angle shows that it glanced off Danilo's head before he got it. Clear pen. Someone on BBC (Jenas?) suggested he got it first, and then took out the player with the follow thrughPunch the ball, not the head. He is allowed to go for it, but he should be careful with his aim.
The referee already lost his hair for sure.France losing their heads.
Even if he clipped it first, I still think it’s a penalty. My view is it’s not a red because it wasn’t intentional or abnormally aggressive. But just as you’d give a foul if a defender is unintentionally late, Lloris should also be punished for simply being slightly late.I have to see it again but it looked like he just got there first in my opinion but you could be right.
It's a bit of a blow for keepers who actually like to come out and punch the ball if he did get it first.
How the feck is this fun.Hungary is wasting time already...it's going to be a long night for Germany. Oh it was fun while it lasted.
If it was given more it might make keepers think before they throw their fist towards a players head. The punch was after he got the ball and a completely accidental collision. I get where it's coming from, the same argument is used for tackles where you get the ball and the man but it was just a freak incident.
Strange? They always do. There is literally no great international team right now. Funny how people called Spain (08-12) boring when that team would walk this competition while every other 'big' team would park the bus and hold on for dear life. France need a proper manager, as do England and they would be by far the best. Its bad when Italy are the bastions of attacking football so far.Strange that France look so mediocre.
Not when you have a chance to play a third placed team as group winners.Of all the teams left in the competition, I reckon the French wouldn't care less If they played England at Wembley
Frogot about Italy Yes, they’re impressive too.Italy definitely 1st IMO, but Spain 2nd yeah.
He was best player in the pitch for the 1st mins. All of the French are now off the boilFrance should drop Pogba tbh
