Anyways, in other news...

English translation:

It looks like almost every Barcelona player's salary is getting halved. This is probably Laporta's way of trying to get enough money for Messi's new contract.

Alright, a little over the top comment from me. From what I've watched of them - wasn't impressed at all. Mind you I watched them mostly during Lopetegui's and Solari's time and not as much in recent times.
Mendy and Militao are underrated by now due to Real‘s trash season and their injuries. I‘d gladly take both of them at my club.

Yeah, let's all reduce our salaries so that we can hand it over to Messi. Nice.

How can Messi look his team mates in the eyes. 50 percent drops in pay so this greedy fecker can build a new wing on his palace.

Messi's going to take a paycut too right? They're still have too much in terms of wages but can't get rid of the big contracts (a problem we're unfortunately very familiar with).

Messi 1.3M p/w (Or even more depending on who you ask )
De Jong 400k p/w
Pique 250k p/w
Busquets 300k p/w
Umtiti 230k p/w

etc

None of these players would be on anything close to those amounts elsewhere.

We need to know if Messi accepted a wage cut.

De Jong is on 400k? Who is negotiating these deals for Barca. I doubt he was even on 10% of that at Ajax. No wonder they’re fecked.

Okay, Ducker's also saying no add-ons. Yup, this is an even better deal.
Straight up, that is an amazing deal for us. Have to begrudgingly give our transfer team some credit here, that is a massive saving

Is there any way of knowing what it actually was given we're a public company? It looks like the German sources are saying 85+10 to make it look like we basically gave Dortmund what they wanted and the English sources are saying 85M EUR straight up.

We'd have to find that out from Dortmund. They'd make that sort of an announcement. I don't think I've seen United announce their deals to their investors in the way that Juventus, Dortmund, and the Portuguese clubs announce their deals.

Yeah, the German brief includes the add-ons whilst the English ones don't.
I haven't verified the below info, but if Romano is reporting the below, then it's a very good deal.

Comparing a black man to a ghetto gang member for wearing clothes that a lot of people wear is probably something to be avoided.
Oh my...
Never looked at it from that point of view.
This is getting ridiculous.
