That's an interesting signing. I wonder if this consigns Luka Jovic to the bench given how similar they are in their playing style. This could also explain the recent di Marzio report from Italy of Milan being interested in Luka Jovic on loan.
That’s a great signing, 2nd best striker in South America on a free. There were rumors he was going to Brazil but he’s good enough to try Europe again.

I was getting so excited when Toronto FC were linked with him a while back. Sure, we got Yeferson Soteldo, who's also great, but Borré would have been so, so good! Frankfurt are getting a very good player.

Just give him a role in the back room staff - he’ll play about 4 games.

Mata probably realises if he sticks around he could be in the running to be our sporting director within 3 years.

Given our track record of giving coaching and technical jobs for nepotism rather than competence or experience.

He's so immature. Saw a video a couple of weeks ago making fun of Matic's way of dressing. Matic was dressed in black trousers, black shoes and a really good looking coat. Then Pogba turned the camera at himself: flashy sneakers with electric green laces, camouflage trousers and a hoodie. How could you make fun of someone formally dressed when you're carrying yourself like a ghetto gang member.
Easy mate.

Whaaaat?! Genuinely thought Mata left United 2-3 years ago. Surely he's Getafe-level or so now, no?

Well, every team has only 3-4 players who actually act and look like grown-ups. The rest didn't mature since they were 14-17 years old. That's the reality of modern football.

With the post about ‘ghettoes’ I’d say the same applies to some posters on here

Juventus will be injected with 400 million Euros of additional cash via the issuance of additional shares from the club. Also, Maurizio Arrivabene, formerly the Ferrari Formula 1 team principal, will become Juventus's football director (reporting to Pavel Nedved).

Since that's coming from Sven Westerschulze, I'd take this more seriously. This is a major development.

EDIT: Sven's own Tweet

Basically, Sky Germany may have jumped the gun with their "85 million Euro total package" report.

I’d still smash down a truckload of money for Ronaldo. Easier said when it’s not my money mind. He’ll be world class until he’s 40

A marketing man at Philip Morris and he's taken up the team principal job at Ferrari F1 and now football director at Juventus.

Interesting career path he has, don't think he'll let Ronaldo go since he knows how much marketing Ronaldo can pull in.
