Supposedly from those who observe the French league he's had a below par season.
Yep, I'd swear half the experts here would trade him in a straight swap for Pogba, happens with more than dozen players every year. People want shiny new toys.

Mendes, Bruno and Caqueret all out played him this season - although he has potential not really showing atm how and where he could unlock it.

So PSG have signed Donnarumma, Hakimi, Ramos and Wijnaldum already.

Donnarumma
Hakimi
Bernat
Ramos
Kimpembe
Marquinhos
Verratti
Wijnaldum
Di Maria
Neymar
Mbappe

Quite tidy.

Has Dharmesh ever said anything worth listening to? He’s awful. His job is basically reading out tweets.
I have a horrible feeling he could be our new correspondent as Cooper has left apparently

Still need a creative attacking midfielder like Paul Pogba to push for CL.

Maguire, Shaw, Wan-Bissaka, Rashford, Greenwood, Sancho, McTomminay, Henderson… the British core is pretty much there already. With Sancho as the last one, I don’t know how it is abondoned, unless we want a team 100% British, like Burnley…

I think everyone in the club want quality signings to make the team better. And quality means talent and a good spirit, not nationality…
Tell that to Simon Stone, James Ducker etc.

No idea why this is so hard to understand for you. The journalists can say whatever they want. Doesn’t change the fact that we have a good British core and have just added Sancho to it.

I couldn't give a shite about the strategy that the club sets regarding player recruitment. I only care about the quality and the profile of the player brought in.

The info I shared is from the most reliable journos who follow the club. And their information was related to the summer transfer window in 2019.

Well yeah every transfer window will be different for different reason. But anyone insisting on the British core being abandoned can’t be paying attention to our team. As many people have already pointed out we have bought both, foreign and British players but the core remains British and even got stronger with Sancho.

We are also being linked with Trippier.
And I don’t have any issues with it as the British players we have are good. Only James is average but he is a squad player anyway.

The 'proclivity' to signing British players was reportedly abandoned. And it related to the summer transfer window in 2019. Sancho, Trippier etc have nothing to do with those reports.

Not been many Rennes games shown at all this year on BT or I missed them, only seen him 4 or so times, much more the season before. He was good in all the games I saw but outstanding the season before where I saw more. The stats sem to suggest he was still very effective but I am not into those.

Again though, he is 18 it was his second full season. A lot of these break out stars seem to struggle to follow up from a godo first season, we have had it with a couple of our players. I would suggest Camavinga is far more Greenwood with a poorer second season than Brandon WIlliams. The abilty is obvious to see and I have little doubt (tho to be fair been wrong with several youngsters before), he is on a differnt level quality wise.

I dont think its the seond season though but the contract where his stock has fallen, plus the prices being lower around Europe bar the premiership for all bar the absolute cream of the crop. I still think there will be a coupel of sides come in for him at that price, big sides too. Im a lot more confident of us getting him than last year when I didnt think we had a hope, but you only have to look at the sides linked with him, all huge teams

Isnt Wijnaldum that player anyway? He is effective threading things together, in the final third, Pogba is effective from deeper and they already have Verrati. I do tink Pogba would do well there but dont think they massivel need him, if anything, like us I think they need to improve the quality of a defensive midfielder as Parades/Herrera/Gueye are all good, but none of them stand out really

Sadly I have to with people like yourself. If you have a issue with anything then go and contact Simon Stone.
No, thank you, I don’t have any issue with the fact that journalist get stuff right and wrong all the time, even the reliable ones.
But you seem to have some strange issues with a British club having a strong and quality British core.

A British person like me, born and raised in England, would really have a issue with having a British core...

I don't know why I have to keep repeating myself, but I'm the same person who posted on this forum that I saw the benefits of having a British core when it comes to the starting 11 players. And I had no issue with what Simon Stone etc reported, when they said we were gonna mostly target players from a British background in 2019. I had no issues with that, NONE..

Feel they’re missing another attacking player. Someone better than Icardi and Kean.

Yeah but why do we need to contact him? He's not the ultimate authority over truth in this world. Journalists make stuff up from the bits and pieces they hear and craft a narrative based on what will sell. Sometimes they'll get it right, other times they'll get it wrong. Nobody needs to contact anyone, they can just be wrong.

Thanks for the kind words. Of course, others have also done good work in this thread, and they should get some credit as well (like @Adnan , @Zoo , @M4YON , @Rolaholic , and @Widow ).
I'm only part time now bro. You deserve most of the credit and go out of your way to filter out the crappy sources that most of us really appreciate. There is a small section of fans who like to call well established journos Fraud and liars when the news being shared doesn't correlate with their understanding. But even then you explain the situation well with superb knowledge of the reliability of the source, which again is most appreciated.

It would surprise me if this particular rumor were true, but Sabitzer's future is an interesting topic. His contract expires next year, one would expect that Leipzig have to sell him at a discount.

If there is a chance to get Sabitzer at a discount i`m surprised there isn`t more talk about it?
