When we need a goal we bring on Saka and Henderson… while Grealish and Sancho still on the bench…

Taking Immobile off and bringing Insigne into the false 9 was such a great move by Mancini. Totally changed the whole game

I commend Italy for sticking to their game plan and style.
The second England scored, everything went out the window and they stopped playing whatever was their game plan, cause it sure as hell wasn't defend for 88mins and win.

The problem for England is that Sterling and Kane are completely undroppable, so who do we change? Our options are limited by having these golden boys.

I've always thought England's progress at the last couple of tournaments had more to do with their fixture list than any managerial skill from Southgate. But he has a chance to shut me up forever in the next 20 mins.

Looks ominous though
Southgate is rubbish, He has gotten to a World cup semi final and Euros final and the only decent teams he played were Belgium, Croatia (world cup one), Germany and Italy and it looks like he is only going beat Germany.

I really want to jammy win this tournament and then once the monkey is of their back try and play a bit more progressive. We really should be playing something like a midfield three with Foden and Grealish either side of Rice. Playing the way we play against top sides we are getting beat 2 out of 3 times.

We don't have enough of the ball and our goal threat is laughable, if Shaw doesn't have the ball then we can't do anything.

Bring on Rashford. He can score late winners during shit team performances.

Clearly Sancho and Grealish have got a little too close to Southgate's missus.

Can't see many other theories.

That's the difference between having a true manager and not having it. Maybe United need to learn from England's mistakes
