Well he’ll have no concerns about not getting in the team. And he still wants to play for us?

Like watching the film from The Ring.
He probably feels being protected by McFred makes everything easy for him.Perhaps his conclusion was that Lindelof was to blame for most of it and he thinks is the solution.

Yeah, i don't think this will happen today, unless the shit-tier journos know something. But this isn't ramos. Anyone still claiming this is ramos 2.0 is just wrong.Yeah the rate its going I wouldn't be surprised to hear some agreement announcement by midweek in fact.
He got hard on watching Maguire. And he still wants to play for us?
Maguire went on a full international preseason tour whilst we were negotiating for him and even then it took AGES after the tour to complete the deal.Well I've only just come on here today and its all edging closer, practically done, preparing a bid, I don't want to seem the only one but its everything that was said last Monday morning.
I suppose when we signed Maguire he was still training and he said nothing until it was officially done.
Fingers crossed

I said to you last week these things always take longer than they appear in the press. The press always jump the gun.Well I've only just come on here today and its all edging closer, practically done, preparing a bid, I don't want to seem the only one but its everything that was said last Monday morning.

Haha true, that is on the border of being a remotely believable train but yeah I think another will appear too...Goretzka I like my trains with reasonably believable destination! I still think Camavinga is the one, but I think another might appear in the next few days....
Hell yeah man, join together aboard the next one come what may!Damn this is exciting. I really don’t know the next train yet. That said, I will be aboard it with you guys

Will be done by Friday I reckon
The point where i will feel like "Ok now we're in the end game" is when the Journalists closer to United (Whitwell, Mitten, Ducker, Stone) start to say everything is advanced and close to agreement. So far they've just confirmed interest and cautiously optimistic talks.Well I've only just come on here today and its all edging closer, practically done, preparing a bid, I don't want to seem the only one but its everything that was said last Monday morning.
I suppose when we signed Maguire he was still training and he said nothing until it was officially done.

whilst an iffy source, it just seems logical that this is the position we are in. There is a reason all the Tier 1's have popped up in quick succession.Tweet

I think it's a bigger step than you realise given the fact that pace of Varane will allow us to defend higher up the pitch.Get in. I don't necessarily think he gives us any big leap towards the title, but more a necessary step. We aren't making the final step without sorting the midfield and the CB partner to Maguire, and maybe we'd make a bigger step with the midfield being sorted compared to CB, but there is no perfect midfielder like Varane as partner to Maguire, so this is the best possible signing right now. Was the same with Sancho at RW, the perfect player for our attack.
Hopefully it gets fully sorted soon, and then we really have to take advantage of the world class team we've built up and finish it off by fixing the midfield (though I feel like we've been saying that for years).
Also he’s won everything. Multiple times. That sort of mentality will help further guide our young team.I think it's a bigger step than you realise given the fact that pace of Varane will allow us to defend higher up the pitch.
Agreed. Combined with a GK that will proactively sweep, we should see a lot more high lines next season, even against much better teams.I think it's a bigger step than you realise given the fact that pace of Varane will allow us to defend higher up the pitch.
Absolutely - and think about how many goals we conceded/points dropped/games lost due to poor aerial defence late in games over the last 2 seasons. He massively helps out there too.I think it's a bigger step than you realise given the fact that pace of Varane will allow us to defend higher up the pitch.

Fabrizio has spoken.can someone give me an update? My broadband is having a mare so can’t be bothered scrolling through several pages. Cocks out or nah?
Yep, agreed. On paper at least (we think we know what we’d be getting with Varane but chickens and eggs and all that) part of our team should be sorted, and for a few years too. His quality will be a massive reassurance to players all around him and you’d think that will show.I think it's a bigger step than you realise given the fact that pace of Varane will allow us to defend higher up the pitch.

That's definitely true. General point is that I don't see a balanced midfield linking it all, and it's not a high enough qualify anyway, which is a shame given the rest of the team is genuinely brilliant right now.I think it's a bigger step than you realise given the fact that pace of Varane will allow us to defend higher up the pitch.
Our problem was setpieces, especially corners (where the whole team defend, not only the CBs).Perhaps his conclusion was that Lindelof was to blame for most of it and he thinks is the solution.
RM also need all the money now, while I guess United want to spread it over some time as with Sancho."Form of payment" issue, Madrid probably want cash, where we would prefer Monopoly money.
