Shitty thing to do,if indeed that is what he's trying here.He signed the contract.Let City break the bank for him if they want him that much.
Contracts like these are more watertight and thorough than the Queens bedroom aquarium. There isn't a thing pertaining to rights or promises that wouldn't be in them. Harry's agent and more importantly lawyer would also give a thumbs up.There's a place for such agreements. In the contract. Why keep a key part of something that you negotiated for out of the contract in the first place?
In relative terms, Newcastle were much worse than Spurs for most of Shearer's career too.He thought he could be Alan Shearer. Then he realised its Spurs
Considering his childhood club are Arsenal he's actually doing right by them.Kane wants easy trophy. Disgusting behaviour towards your childhood club. Hope the move fails.
Thankfully clubs and professionals don't act like this.I'd go down the FM route, dish out the biggest fine I could and let him rot in the reserves until his contract is up, totally ruin what is left of his career, that'll fcuking learn him.

I don't think City plucked 100m from their arse, to be fair. Its about his value.Because I don’t agree. Clearly. I don’t think Levy told Kane he could leave for a price City plucked from their arse.
Nah, these kinds of informal agreements are common, at least for bigger players. Sancho clearly had one with BvB about what size offer they would let him move for in the summer of 2020, to take just one example. Suarez also clearly had an agreement with Liverpool that he could leave for Barcelona if a suitable bid arrived.Contracts like these are more watertight and thorough than the Queens bedroom aquarium. This speculation by fans is not rooted in reality
hes still not at training.... thats all i know. Are there any more news?
There is absolutely no reason for Spurs to accept whatever is City's valuation of the player.I don't think City plucked 100m from their arse, to be fair. Its about his value.
He’s one of two people on the planet who can claim to be the best striker in the world. What do you think Varane’s value would have been if he had 3 years on his deal? I think 80m. And he’s a CB. Not a single person would have been saying 100m when asked how much it would cost to buy Kane if asked that question in May.I don't think City plucked 100m from their arse, to be fair. As I said, if there was a gentlemans agreement that he can go for a reasonable fee then I don't blame him. He’s one of two people on the planet who can claim to be the best striker in the world. He should be angry at his own little pea-brain for signing a long-ass contract on six years, that he doesn't even want to honour the half of.He should be angry at City for overpaying on a mid they don't need leaving him out in the cold.
One would be they are getting a good fee for a player who might disrupt stability with his open desire to leave. There is absolutely no reason for Spurs to accept whatever is City's valuation of the player.
Seconded. Let both parties stick to their guns. City without Kane and Spurs with a pissed off Kane, would make it an ideal scenario for other potential PL contenders.I hope Kane holds out for months and Spurs refuse to sell him. It is the best possible solution for everyone that is not Spurs or City!
They got it from Kane's interview with Neville, its nearly like City told him to say it.I don't think City plucked 100m from their arse, to be fair. Its about his value.
If City are prepared to pay Villa £100M for Jack, is £100M reasonable for Kane?As I said, if there was a gentlemans agreement that he can go for a reasonable fee then I don't blame him.
Varane would probably be 80m, yes. But Real are Real and Tottenham are Tottenham. I can understand a behemoth club standing in the way of a player because they can still fulfil his aspirations. Tottenham cannot - and that's why I think assuming he had that agreement in place whereby he'll give Spurs 2-3 years for this new project before moving, he's left with little choice but to strike.
Yes, it is Tottenham and feck them, but 100M seems a gross undervaluation of Kane. And I don't think clubs should keep selling their premium players for cheap, just because the player is acting like a spoilt kid for not getting what he wants. One would be they are getting a good fee for a player who might disrupt stability with his open desire to leave.
Of course Spurs are well within their rights to say no, I'm not really debating that. I'm just saying I don't have much of an issue with what Kane is doing - it's fecking Tottenham.
Kane is a couple years older than Grealish - both phenomenal talents in their respective positions. I don't think there's a big differenceIf City are prepared to pay Villa £100M for Jack, is £100M reasonable for Kane?
The reasonable fee isn’t what City and Kane decide - it’s what Spurs do ala Dortmund last year with the 120m they demanded for Sancho in a COVID market who had 3 years left on his contract. If Harry is unhappy he should be taking it up with City for not stumping up the cash rather than trying to bully Spurs into accepting much less than market value by not turning up to do the job he’s paid millions to do.As I said, if there was a gentlemans agreement that he can go for a reasonable fee then I don't blame him.

Just take the large amount of money i'm already being paid. Not saying I agree with Kane but let's look at it from the players pov.
You've already signed the contract, that's water under the bridge. The buying club will not pay what is in fact a ridiculous amount, you're 28 and running out of time, this is your only chance but the selling club refuses to negotiate or insists outright that they will not sell you.
What would you do in this situation?
Yes, that too.He should be angry at his own little pea-brain for signing a long-ass contract on six years, that he doesn't even want to honour the half of.
We will disagree, I don't think Grealish has done anything to suggest he is a phenomenal talent.Kane is a couple years older than Grealish - both phenomenal talents in their respective positions. I don't think there's a big difference
It runs out in 2024. That's a long time to be stuck at Spurs. If I was Kane I'd milk the contract, leave on a free, then sign for a club that could surround me with quality for the trophy part.
Wouldn't wish that on anyone. It runs out in 2024. That's a long time to be stuck at Spurs.
When you're unhappy you should be allowed to be employed somewhere else under fair conditions. Especially when taking into consideration that a football career is pretty short. I get that we're in pickle with Pogba because we paid a lot of money for him and are at risk to lose him for nothing.
But Spurs could easily get 50 mil or more for Kane. He's played there for his whole life and was year in year out their top performer. He could've easily been more laid back from time to time. If Spurs unearthed a gem that would've made Kane redundant, they would've immediately shown his sorry 200k/week ass the door.
All this behavior from Spurs leads to are shorter contracts and free agency. Clubs like Spurs are making the game worse for everyone.
Making unreasonable demands for a player who's been there for years and friendly told them he wants to leave because it's about his last chance to win something meaningful. I mean, about 160 mil. (pounds) in covid times, c'mon man. What behaviour?
