Barca are an absolute shambles of a club at the moment.

You love to see it.

Boring unimaginative player joins a boring unimaginative club. At least the World makes sense. Always felt he’d end up back at Chelsea after United sold him to Inter. Would have been pissed if Chelsea got Haaland.

Will obviously score against United both times in the league. Predictable. But over the course of a few years I don’t think it’ll be a massive success story of a signing
I mean obviously I disagree with literally everything you said.

Not sure, they’re one of the proper clubs. Do we want to see City/PSG/Chelsea dominating it? Not for me.

Nah he will definitely score both times. It’s just what happens when ex strikers return. They always have a point to prove and try twice as hard
OK maybe I don't disagree with *literally* everything you said. Just the 95%.

  • 2+1 year contract
  • Net salary (i.e. after taxes): 30-35 million Euros per season (bonuses included)
  • There will also be a signing bonus (currently being negotiated with Leo's father).

Well.. Barca would never be able to compete anyway, so if Messi going to PSG can keep CL out of the Pep Guardiola is my idol’s reach im 100% for that.

  • After Zapata, Inter also want a 2nd striker on loan or a free transfer. Options:
    • Gianluca Scamacca (Sassuolo)
    • Edin Dzeko (Roma; free transfer)
      • Roma don't want to give him up.
  • Inter working on Dumfries after a deal for Nández stalled.

Atlético de Madrid has Rafa Mir tied up and can close his transfer in the next few hours. As per Marca, the signing is about to copmlete, and if all goes well, the Wolverhampton striker will play in a rojiblancos shirt.

Lille pushes hard for Atleti goalkeeper Ivo Grbić.
I'd have thought that they'd target someone with a more prominent profile than Ivo Grbic, but maybe they see something in him that I don't.

35m Euro net = 570,000 GBP/week net.

Which would be something like 1m GBP gross / week.

A great salary, but befitting a Messi.

I may be the devil, but i'm not a monster
City planning to drop £250m+ in a single summer on two players. PSG looking to add Messi (and a million quid a week in wages) to Neymar, Mbappe, Ramos, Hakimi, Donnarumma etc.

FFP is dead and buried.
I have a feeling that city are acutely aware of the dangers of over spending every season the consequence it may have.

Money is no issue for these people but I believe they know that if they over spend massively, they will feck themselves and the PL will come down massively hard on them.

Oh man, hope the state owned club can afford it.

Yes lets not forget the signing bonus....poor bloke is on the breadline

Pure greed.

Guy may be a great footballer but he is not a particularly sympathetic individual.
