Think Liverpool and Man City in recent years have shown what one very good centre back can do for your team. I really hope varane has a similar impact to Dias and van dijk did. He has a better centre back partner (maguire) than those two did too so can’t see why he doesn’t.
Sadly some of our post SAF signings makes me slightly worried about how they will be especially with such huge expectations although oles signings have been better than his predecessors.

That might be your opinion which is 100% fine, their is no right or wrong here, but my feelings and clearly a lot of others is part of a transfer we enjoy the whole unveiling part especially with a player such as Varane, why does that trigger so much people ? Why do people get so annoyed just because what they enjoy about a transfer doesn’t reflect across a whole community or fan base, people are allowed to feel how they feel,
of course all I really care about is Varane signs and all the rest of the stuff is just side excitement but Rado calling people toolbags just because there feelings are different to his is out of order, literally no reason to get that upset by difference of opinion.

Its amazing that he has been a Utd player for 2 weeks (bar the 'minor details') yet any media pics have him still in a freckin Madrid shirt. Just get him in the red shirt (or even the 3rd !!)
He had his medical completed Wednesday. Then all he had to do was sign contract.

Hopefully the hold up is about requiring the music rights to drop a sick beat with his unveiling video as that Jay tune on the Lukaku drop was fire.

Chelsea had some of their people in Milan to do the media work, which is why they were able to announce their deal sooner. United didn't do that with Varane; they completed all of that yesterday in Manchester. All that's left at this point is the actual announcement and media reveals.

It kinda is. We’re supposedly introducing a new formation and way of playing. I’ll believe it when I see it, but naturally if that’s the case you need a good preseason to hammer it in. And we’ve had almost none. So yeah, it’s annoying that we agreed deals so fast and yet still couldn’t get the players in. Last season we started badly and Ole blamed it on preseason. If we don’t start well this time, we’re toast. It won’t be like last year. City, Chelsea and Liverpool will all be stronger. Chelsea getting Lukaku is huge. We’d better start strong and with the teams we face we have no excuses. That is the only savings grace. That if they miss the first games we should be able to handle it.
