And he spoke about possibly changing his mind at age 30, not 36. Also he only mentioned Qatar and not Abu Dhabi. I think he's in the clear.

Agreed, but even with Madrid, the way he left and came out with his interview making the headlines all about him straight after winning the UCL isn't something you do to a club you have a great relationship with.
