Same goes to Juventus really, with all those Ramsey, Morata signings and Pirlo being a wank.
I don't disagree really. I find this 1 player vs everyone narrative quite asinine in a team game without looking away from the fact that they are their teams key offensive players.

Just started getting Berbatov vibes. Gonna hurt even more now when he inevitably signs for City. This is one of the Five Stages of Grief, right?

I hope we don't sign him. Don't want a season with Ronnie constantly flapping his hands in frustration.

That’s usually after he’s made a good positive run and didn’t quite score, which is world away from what we have with no Cavani.

Top scorer with 5 goals.

3 of those were penalties.

Hope we pass.
I agree on the pass, feel like utd have finally sorted out the transfer stretegy. This would just have feeling of the sanchez times etc. Just don't think he's irrelevant. He will score. And he will sell. But I in long term would like haaland and Ronnie surely gets in way of that.

Same here. I don't think we would get much with him in our team and it would hurt us in the long run (at least for the next season as well)

PSG will be just fine.

Would rather we sign him and play him exclusively in the u23s with Paul McShane until he retires than ever see him play for City

Laugh all you want, he is still:
Top scorer in Euro this summer
Top scorer in Serie A last season
Scored more goals than anyone in Italy in past 2-3 years
Scored more goals than anyone in CL history
Scored more goals than anyone in football history

Just waiting for a Simon Stone/James Ducker tweet to come out and kill this rumour of him returning to us.

Do we want him to come here so we don’t have to see him with city?

Or do we actually want him?

This will sting like a bitch but he will definitely lose all my respect… for what it’s worth

My grandfather that died a few years back just told me that Mendes only went to the Man City meeting to troll them and giving them hopes but in reality, Ronaldo was only waiting for the Man Utd final proposal.

True story, I used an ouija board to confirm it.

If you followed Ronaldo closely at Juve, should we be worried about him joining City?
Hes still an elite poacher. Man City need an elite poacher. On the pitch, he literally ticks the box of what they need in attack. Someone to be a threat off the ball, make the runs in behind and find open space. Not to mention his big game mentality and record, and CL pedigree. So on the pitch, yes.

Off the pitch it's a nightmare. This gets them fame in a way no other signing could. It gets them one over United. It pushes United down and cements them at the top in terms of current reputability. It's a slow transition turning into a big club, you always need a lot of convincing to get fans and all that, but a signing like Ronaldo is a big step that would otherwise be impossible.
