I’m 100% certain Ole will kill it with fire. “We looked at him of course, it’s Ronaldo after all so you have to, but decided its not an area we need to focus on and we are very happy with our options in that area”

I'm amazed there isnt more uproar about how he can decide that he doesnt want to play for the team he's contracted to.

Imagine the outcry if this were Pogba.

Also his 2015 comments and what's happening now prove what loyalty means to him

Him playing for City hardly feels like Cantona, Robson or Keane moving to City. He left yonks ago and became a legend for another club.

We have Tony, Rashy, Jessie, Sanchy, Elangy, Shoretirey, we don't need Ronnie

Only thing that makes it okay is that it seems juve is fine with him leaving where us/spurs don't want pogba/Kane to leave.

But yeah, pogba would be berated much more

And what are those options?

So it definitely looks as though he's leaving Juve, but why leave it so late in the window? Surely you'd have made you're mind up earlier than that, if you're someone like Ronaldo. Or is it that clubs are asking with the Mbappe and Kane news that has turned his head?

What does agent paddy Evra have to say? I remember the one time he posted screenshots of a WhatsApp conversation he had with Cristiano…

If that prick ends up in United, that would be the biggest scam move on Ed, that would trump JM bluff when he for some reason told whole world how his sperm product enjoys watching PSG or whatever the feck.

It’s kind of fun with this backwards transfer saga, where all we want is for him not to sign for our rivals. I mean, when was the last time that happened? I’m checking twitter as often as pre Varane hoping to see it dead in the water

How or where to watch Ole's presser live?! Is it on MUTV?

If my ex wants to get back with me but I reject her, should I feel aggreived if she gets together with someone I don't like?

Obviously a silly example, none of my exes want to get back with me.
isnt that exactly what's just happened with Lukaku? IE, you were her first, then she left you and whored around europe, then came back to you after rejecting you sometime in between?

People need to stop with the Haaland obsession. We aint gonna get the hottest prospect in a millions years with these pricks in charge. Next summer we also have to address the DM spot and a replacement for Pogba. Getting Ronaldo now makes perfect sence if we ever want to have a complete team, unless we address the DM spot in a couple days. (which we wont)

If we rejected Lukaku and he moved to Spurs, it would be the same as you rejecting Ronaldo and him going to Man City.

We broke records to get Lukaku back.

Rios a pundit, why can’t people start to realise that he will say anything to stay current.
As a former teammate of Ronaldo you’d think he’d be texting him trying to persuade him not to go to city
Mckola's not being serious. It's tongue in cheek tweet.

That's the spirit! We'll never, ever win anything, or attract big talents, or sign a DM. NEVER!

I'm confident we're signing Haaland, with or without Ronaldo. I actually think we have a better chance of getting him with Ronaldo here.

I never said they aren’t our rivals at all, but a lot of the hoopla about this supposed rivalry is manufactured and recently too. City fans hating us doesn’t equate or translate to them being our rivals or biggest rivals (which was the implication in the post I replied to initially). It just means they are jealous. They have little brother syndrome. They are not our equals despite being in an upward trajectory for years, and the only reason they are our rivals is because of geography. Might as well say Bolton Wanderers are up there in terms of rivalry for us if that’s the criteria. Our rivalries with Liverpool and Leeds eclipse any rivalry with City
I don’t dispute that but there has always been an edge when they came up the top division, that’s why we look back at the 3-2 at Maine Road & winning the league there in 07 for example. I thought you might mention the Bolton thing when I mentioned them hating us but that’s not remotely similar & that became clear from them having an extended run in the top flight.

Well if you swapped the word "team" for "time" we would :D but yeah ,I know what you mean.

I would say, if we had anticipated all of this, we could have let Cavani go, and offered Ronaldo a 1 year deal with the option of a 1 year extension. Then went all in for Haaland next year.
feck sake. I can't even blame autocorrect as i'm on the laptop... I did mean to write time though, I promise...

How so? With the creativity we have now and a more stable defense, a selfish CF would be great, on paper.
Yeah, fair point. I was thinking at it more broadly in terms of us being our strongest in attack since he left (certainly since SAF retired) but as a specific position, you may have a point.
