Fantastic news! Incredible!

Now Ed, go get a top DMC please! That's the last piece of the puzzle. Increase the ticket prices if you have to, borrow, steal, whatever ... get us a top DMC!

We've restored the winning mentality and determination with our three summer signings. All three of them seem hell bent on winning.

Football fans are so funny.

Yesterday it was "feck city, they're getting the arse-end of Ronaldo career, we got Sancho"

Today it's "Ronaldo home, we're winning the league"

Not I mate. I posted a ‘quote me on this’ post yesterday saying Ronaldo would be unreal for City.

My respect for Cristiano is true.

Not sure if the posts about reduced playing time of Greenwood, Martial and this transfer being a mistake are serious? Every young player dreams of having a chance to train with Ronaldo every day. Ronaldo came to United as a promising youngster, became the best in the world at United thanks to his work ethic and attitude. Man's a god to every football player and fan under 30. I personally have a feeling that the youngsters and those struggling mentally are the ones winning most from this, but somehow it's the biggest mistake a club can make.

What a surreal day.
I left for work this morning amidst the rumours/talk of Ronaldo going to City. Actually had a chat with a City fan, who was quite happy to gloat that they were getting him. He spent an age talking about lineups and where they could fit him in, and what a forward line it would be. "We don't even need Kane now that we've got Ronaldo".
Walked to my car before making the journey home and thought I'd check the football news. Saw the words Ronaldo and Manchester and thought that this was confirmation that City had actually got him...and then had to sit down when I saw "United" in the headline. Must have read that headline about 4 or 5 times before I understood it. Checked several other sites to see the same thing and spent about 5 or 10 minutes in the car, engine off, scrolling through that now famous RedCafe transfer thread. My smile grew wider and wider with each and every page.

Did not wake up expecting this. What a day.  :houllier:

It's time to sing a song
He's back where he belongs!!!
We thought we missed the boat
Now we've got the GOAT!!!!
Now i'm drunk and very cocky
And if he fails
Feck it i'm following hockey.

Don't sign old players and cast offs
It's been officially announced by the club. It's done. Medical was today in Lisbon.
Manutd.com are still showing:

'Manchester United is delighted to confirm that the club has reached agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical.'

Who cares? Fans are fickle what’s new.

We’re getting Ronnie back!
