Have to respect James, could have taken the easy way out and refused the move and sat on the bench like a few, but he's really showing ambition here. Hope he does well for them

I wasn't expecting this at all.

Zuber's much better than a player to play in the Greek League. I'm surprised that Premier League didn't really go for him. Leeds would have benefitted from his versatility, for example.

Feel abit for Dan. He was only playing just yesterday for United and now he’s kind of being pushed out of the club. I guess he was told he is surplus to requirements and the fee is too good to refuse. Good to see he has ambition to play elsewhere though

As a Leeds fan I consider any such fee an absolute disgrace.

This will no doubt cheer up the Utd faithful but nonetheless it is true.

All of you slagging off Utd's transfer dealings ( with some justification with Lindgard) should bear this deal in mind too. Leeds have been fleeced if true.
You’re getting a player that will work his socks off for you - and if he gets the time will turn out to be a good player. I liked James and think an environment with less pressure will do him wonders.

He will be a very good signing for leeds and bielsa will improve him. Lots of potential for improvement in him.

This window is becoming great. Get rid of Lingard and sign a DM it will be truly amazing.

Especially if Bielsa plays him on the left nit the right. He was a bit of a square peg in a position we have left unloved for years.

On a positive note, his style will suit Bielsa's team much more than Utd's. He will run and attack, he won't have the scrutiny that he has at Utd, the expectations are that you will attack with impunity and James will do that.
I'm happy for him, he needs games

Willock went for 25m.. Sheff Utd paid 25m for Brewster (wtf was that? ).. Arsenal paid 25m for Ramsdale..
Its the going rate.. He is tireless and Bielsa has a plan for him.. It'll be a good move for both James and leeds..

He wasnt going to be a regular starter here.. getting decent money so cant complain.. but I wouldve been totally fine if we kept him as a squad player.

Twitter rumour that Kalvin Philips may be part of the deal somehow….literally 0% chance of that happening

I like Dan James. He’s a really hard worker who always puts in a shift, terrifying pace too. Happy to be a squad player and is the consummate professional. Sad to see him go in many ways. His work ethic puts more talented players (Martial) to shame. I wish him well. Good fee for him, which is much needed with all our expenditures.

James will be a good player for Leeds if the system caters him space for his movement.

The biggest issue at United is typically the club come up against packed defences and with the lack of fluidity in the coaching, many of the players are required to use their own initiative to create chances. If James has Bielsa's system to cover some of his weaknesses (overcrowding) he can be an asset.

Other side of Raphinha that's two quick wide men either side worrying defences. It's a good signing, his time at United shouldn't be an example (especially considering his age) as many players perform differently under different circumstances. Seen with Demari Gray frozen out at Leicester and now firing for Everton.

Well I fail to see how it’s his fault that United have over priced him
He's not pushing to go, if he was ambitious he would be but he's happy to sit on the bench, if this was Lindelof I doubt you would be cutting him the slack you are Lingard mate, he's had his time at United.

I’ll be honest, as much as I think Lindelof is not good enough much of what I say is tongue in cheek with him. Much of what is being said and assumed about lingard this summer borders on being a bit OTT

Well all I can say is I feel the same way about Mata and Matic, players taking up space and wages for a few games a season when they could have went somewhere and played. I respect the fact Pereira was keen to seek a move to play and that James has gone where he'll start.

There’s no reliable journos that are saying Philips is part of the deal. Probably just standard twitter nonsense for clicks
