He doesn't know that. Ducker is surely just hedging his bets because there's just one day to go and it's seemingly unlikely. I doubt United are going to feed him inside info on a guy United will potentially have a run at on the last day of season, especially when multiple teams might panic into bidding too if it were made public.

This is one of the main reason I think there will be no movement for a midfielder this window. It will be probably a b2b and a backup striker next summer for us.
Possibly, but there are/will be alot of other midfield options that might not take an entire transfer budget. We’re also going after Haaland next window, so it’ll be more money for getting him

We have had a great transfer window, but it’s not at all entitled to see the pressing need for a midfielder. It has the potential to ruin our season.
The more we offload, the higher the chance that we might feel even a loan is possible.
