Antonio looks like he might drop tonight. I don’t want to take him out and bring him back up back after next week cause I will need to an extra 0.5. He still has two more good weeks after United.
The problem is I have Benrahma and Coufal and I don’t want to play Coufal cause Ronaldo is coming to town.

This is a rookie question (which is mad considering I’ve played FPL for ten years) but didn’t it used to be the case that if one of your players went up in value you’d benefit from this when selling them?
Getting shut of Tsimikas this week since his game time is going to be limited now, and even though it says he’s worthy 4.1 I’m only getting 4.0 in my bank to use.
It seems unfair that you have to pay extra for players when they go up in value, but don’t benefit from when your own squad players increase in value.
I’m sure this didn’t used to be the case but may be wrong.

For every £0.2m they go up, you get £0.1m when you sell.
So £4m to £4.1m, you get £4m back when you sell
£4m to £4.2m, you get half of the increase so get £4.1m when you sell

I rushed my transfers last night and somehow Toney stayed at 6.4 and Ronaldo stayed at 12.5. How did that even happen. Let’s hope there’s no injuries in the games between now and next weekend.
Sites are reporting people’s changes but chip changes are ignored by algorithms so what looks like 100%+ becomes lower when WC changes are removed

Already used WC. Worked out fine. On for 70 points this week. Team pre-wildcard would have got 40.
Jota and Traore didnt work out.
But Jota has Palace next and Traore has 1-2 games v Brentford, Southampton to do something/anything.
Although maybe its time to get Raul Jiminez in.

They have an incredible run of fixtures.

Defensively. And on top of that they have Llorente got injured and Struijk will be banned for the WHU game. Antonio would be licking his lips thinking about that game.
Even going forward they look okay. Raphinha is becoming Traore 2.0. Does everything and fecks up in the final third. I watched the game yesterday to decide if I wanna do Antonio to Bamford. Bamford would be a solid pick no doubt but they never looked anything amazing in attack vs Liverpool who were massively attacking and leaving Raphinha completely open in space a lot of times.
Probably just that they’ve not been playing well. Couple of tough fixtures previously, but my Leeds supporting mate (I know) is quite worried.
Tbf they looked a lot better before the red card. Plus they always struggle against the big teams due to their play style, think they will pick up again vs the weaker teams.

Although I've missed the chance to take a -4 hit and get TAA back in my team, and replace Antonio with Hwang, which would allow me to have TAA, Ronny, Romelu, and Salah all in the same team! Maybe next week.

Yeah anyone going for Raph/Bamford is totally fine. They'd be scoring for sure. But yeah currently they are 17th with 11 goals conceded in 4 games, so it probably will be like last season where they get more stable as the season goes on. I'm surely holding off the Antonio to Bamford transfer for now.
Yeah I'm 50/50 on it now myself. I've got players on the bench with decent fixtures but it would nice to get a jump on the competition with that Friday night game.
But on the other hand West Ham are at home to Leeds the week after and I know who I'd rather have for that fixture.
