Bored of the cafe these days. Really, really feckin bored. A game we looked like winning easily until an unfortunate tackle cost us a win and a bad back pass cost us a draw.

Yet again though a number of posters will just have to completely avoid the place for days until all the angry kids get it out of their system. Get a grip FFS

This is just terrible stuff. I would say every single player we had cost more individually than the whole YB team combined. We should be destroying them.

The worst and best thing about the game tonight.

The best - not having privileges to post in the matchday thread.
The worst - the matchday thread. I refuse to believe the majority of posters are actually adults, absolutely embarrassing and pathetic. Suspect the majority of you play football manager and save scum the games you lose. A bunch of hindsight warriors.

After the red card, the game is difficult any way you cut it. Maybe it was a bit negative from Ole, but going to 10 men puts us at a massive disadvantage regardless. Ole can't do anything about the brain fart from Lingard right at the end. I doubt Pep or Klopp would have done any better in the circumstances.
How can you say a manager can do nothing with 10 men.

Chelsea drew with Pool playing with a man down for a whole half literally a few weeks ago and we're supposed to believe it is inevitable that we're going to bottle this game?

I'm so tired of my team failing in the CL against mediocre teams. Another season of EL football is a sackable offense.

Being calm doesn’t make you clever you know. The game was managed in the worst possible way.

Shite game management by Ole, crap subs. Should have done much better even being a player down. Drop points against Villareal and we find ourselves on extremely thin ice.

Red card or not, the performace overall was bad before the red card already. You've seen that the Wankdorfer looked more eager and dangerous when attacking.
The lack of quality in defensive midfield is a very big issue. I hope McTominay get fit soon and a new defensive midfield is a must.

Casual beans JLingz, please feck off to West Ham.

We were fine and in control early on and then out of nowhere AWB has a moment of absolute pure stupidity to get himself sent off and it’s just one way traffic after that.

2nd half, I don’t think we even had an attempt at goal? We defended well as on another day, we could have got hammered out there. It looked as if we were going to steal a point after being completely Wankdorfed since the sending off until Messrs Lingard struck…

Extremely frustrating result and all down to the doing of some of our players. I was a bit annoyed with the red, but I can see why it's given. Always going to be a difficult game from there with that being so early, away from home in Europe and on a astro surface. And then the back pass at the end. Shocking stuff. You can't make those mistakes in Europe. Weaker team or not, this is still the Champions League and mistakes will be punished.

It can obviously happen but I was concerned about the extent we lost all cohesion as soon as we're down to 10. We were all over the gaff and it was honestly one of the most painful second halves you'll ever see from us. Our subs almost felt randknwin nature too which added to the frustration.

Uphill task in the group already. I felt we took the group for granted after getting an "easier" one on paper to last year. Lets hope we don't throw this chance away as we did then after our strong start.

Should be better with 10 against those. Especially when you lose a RB.

Our midfield options/inability to dictate play in the middle will be a huge issue this year.

We'll still qualify with ease though.

Two idiotic mistakes have cost us here, but I'm still disappointed how we shaped up after going down to 10 men. This is Young Boys, not one of the stronger teams by any means at all.

Still think we could have brought on someone like Greenwood, kept 4 at the back, and been solid and looked for some control in the game. In the end we just invited the pressure against as poor team that needed a lucky break and a helping hand to score.

An easy group turns into an uphill battle all of a sudden, and with that a lot of our momentum from the start of the season.

Some of the most bizarre tatics and subs I ever seen. Backs to the wall and he brings on Tony who looks like he’s on a Sunday morning jog.

Ole did everything wrong after the red.

Lingard shouldn't even have been subbed in. How was he going to affect the game? In addition to that, he was moved to midfield where he made that mistake. It's come to a point where I don't even blame him. He's not the one making the decisions.
The logic made sense.
Ronaldo wasn't moving around, and we had no ball, so bringing on some energy, with the chance of a breakway was sound.

Ole wouldn't have expected him to pop up in the right back position and play an absolutely mental left foot back pass when under zero pressure.

ALmost 3 years Ole in charge, we're still pretty shite in keeping the ball. That's not the sign of big or top club.

AWB with an unfortunate moment, and Lindgard with a brain fart, but this loss is on Ole. I have no idea what he was doing with his subs and set up. Even with 10 men we should be able to beat Young Boys. Play a 4-4-1 and keep going at them. Unbelievable...

Everything went to shite from the Red Card.

Hope we batter them at OT.

Hopefully we still get through but that was seriously demoralising watching that 2nd half. United know how to bring you back to reality in recent years. We got completely battered.

We were 30 seconds from closing it out if not for a brain fart from Lingard. I'm sorry, but I don't see how that's on Ole.
2 shot attempts all game, zero in 65 minutes after the red. Regardless of 10 minutes you have to at least set the team up properly to occasionally create. If anything this just highlights more of Ole's shortcomings. This is where managers show their tactical knowledge of the game and how to create something even when they are down a man.

You certainly don't look forward to an early sending off against a good team!
Could be like Tottenham at home last season!

Loss should not be concern. The way we lost should. We got dominated today by a team that even my Red Star was dominating at home a year or two ago. We are not good at this point. Will we get good? Let's see, but we are just not good at all so far. We had one good game against a weak team and rest were pathetic.

Ronaldo must be wondering what the hell he's walked into.
More lika Deja vu, he lost his last game at YB too, 1-2 with Juventus.

People in here acting like YB are a beer league team, while Ole apparently saw them at peak Barca level.
I think the truth is somewhere in between. They'll cause trouble for Atalanta and Villareal too.

how many years of missing out on progressing from the group stage will you accept before wanting to hold people accountable. 7 defeats in 11 for Ole in UCL.

They're going to blame the artificial pitch for everything. Even Oles choices
