Sarr looks tempting but he's a short term pick, you'll be looking to move him back out after the next two.

Any news on Raphinha? I want to take him out for Sarr. But I also want to save my transfer and use 2 next week so I can play the wildcard the week after. Any advice lads? @Sandikan @Dirty Schwein @BeforeKeanetherewasRobson
No, Bielsa wasn’t clear either way. I’ve left him in as good run coming and worse case scenario, I’ll take Livramento as first sub.

Want to Wildcard. Must… re…sist…

If you have a vaguely solid player on the bench, you probably want to hold Raphina due to Leeds up coming run.

Not 100% on Sarr. Think people are getting a bit giddy on him battering a terrible Norwich team. Granted they play Newcastle, but is a potential one week haul there better in the long run?
It's not just Newcastle, Sarr then plays Leeds.

After the two potential hauls, I'd bench him and then look to get rid on WC.

I was set on doing Bamford to Armstrong but now considering Raphinha to Sarr instead.

Sarr has much better fixtures than Armstrong over the next two. Raphinha looks like a great bet if he's fit but Leeds are playing awful at the minute... There's no cohesion to their attacks like last year...

Such a tough call.

If I want Sarr, I have to do it tonight. If Armstrong, I can wait until tomorrow.

And sell him before dippers at home? A fixture he got 2G+1A in 2020 to end their unbeaten start?

He also played Brighton and Wolves… got two (“thanks for coming”) points in each

Stick with Sanchez in goal, or give Foster a go in case he keeps his place?

Who is on your bench?
No news mate. I had a similar problem. I've decided to leave him in and let Big Ben White come in if he misses. His fixtures over the medium term are far better than Sarr.

Thanks lads! I do have Marcal on the bench so I guess I have a something replacement instead of someone like Gilmour.

I bought Ings instead of Bamford. I planned to do it next week anyway so feck it. Hope that he doesn't score this week though. :wenger:

One more week hopefully… try to catch the swings.

To be honest fantasy wise it’s only Liverpool and City that are hard games but they are at home. The other three have bad defenses and will concede. I don’t think I’m jumping off the Ronaldo train. If anything Lukaku joins him up top and I play with 2 strikers instead of 3.

Go ahead and pick him for that game if you're that confident.

Done it.

Raphinha out, Sarr in. Those Newcastle and Leeds defenses are too shit to pass up.

Bamford stays for now.

I suddenly feel a wave of regret hitting me

Leeds 2-3 West Ham (Antonio hatrick, Raphinha brace)
I'll take the Antonio hattrick... I can't see raphinha doing too much on this game any way, especially without Bamford. If he does, then my cat will get a kicking.

I had Raphinha from the start for his fixtures starting next week and held him through weeks of blanks and now he's gone as soon as the weeks I wanted him for are about to approach

Wow. Literally an hour ago you told me to keep Raphinha instead of getting in Sarr:lol:

That's because you have a bench. My bench has one player that will most likely play this week so I needed to have a guaranteed starter in the first team. Sarr will play. Raphinha is 50%

With that said, I stick by my earlier comment that Sarr is better for the immediate but Raphinha has better fixtures if you look at the next 5-6 instead of 2.

If Raphinha plays tomorrow, I'll be quite upset (regardless of if he blanks as I feel his upcoming fixtures could be solid, dependent on Bamford's fitness of course)

As I type this reply, I'm having more regrets

Edit: I just re-read your message. The WC part must have went over my head. If you are planning to play WC in the next few weeks, Raphinha to Sarr is the absolute best move you can make.

You'll not have Raphinha for this week, a week where he'll either not play or play and not get too many points because West Ham are decent and Bamford not playing. So your only real loss is the game against Watford, where he can haul.

Meanwhile, you get Sarr, who is playing two of the three worst defences in the league. As soon as those games are done, play your WC and kick Sarr back out for Raphinha and you're golden.

What’s your plan for next week and when are you using your WC? Bring in Rudiger?

Sorry mate, I gave bum advice earlier. Re-read the post you quoted, I added an edit.

My plan:

Next week: Tsimikas out for Rudiger.
GW8: CR7 out for Lukaku.
GW9: Shaw out for Reece James

GW 8&9 can be swapped, I'll see how it goes.

I don't think I need to WC just yet. But this is FPL... If I get too many more injuries or suspensions, I may be forced to play my WC.

What do you think of City’s defense? Cancelo is still 6.0. I was planning a TAA - Rudiger - Cancelo - Marcal - Livramento defense.

Feels weird to roll a FT when you are gonna WC soon.

Anything people think they'd do for this:

Sanchez Begovic
TAA Shaw Livra Ayling Amartey
Salah Greenwood Jota Benrahma Brownhill
Ronaldo Antonio Jimenez

City have a great defense but with UCL back, not sure if some will get rested. Cancelo is a pretty safe bet. Good thing is, Pep rarely brings on defenders as subs so just have bench cover and you're good to go!

I'd personally upgrade a defender if you really want to make a transfer... Amartey out would seem the obvious one.

I also have Greenwood, Shaw and Jota. I want to take all of them out after next game week. Bring in Chelsea and city options. So going to roll my transfer and use them next week and then WC during the international break.

Best third striker under 6.7 million? I’m building towards having Lukaku and Ronaldo.

ASM is at the top of my budget and only leaves 0.1 for price rises over the next week or two.

Edouard I don’t want so I can potentially get Gallagher.

Maupay is a dick.

Pukki has really good fixtures, but my mate bought him in last week, so it’s a bit of a boring pick in my mini league.

Anyone else?

Armstrong shoots a lot and has good fixtures. An even more left field pick would be Josh King who might even be on penalties
