Anybody know when the squad battle rewards are out this year? Used to be Sunday night/Monday morning but it says the next competition starts in 2 hours..?
Yeah I heard that he’s quite good in game. Still, I think I’d rather concentrate on Division Rivals and finish qualifying for next weekend league.
I’ve played 2 squad battles this morning. Winning both and got kicked from the EA servers and ‘lost’ both 3-0. Class
Had a first the other day. Played online as Aston Villa and it matched me against PSG as usual. He pace whored Mbappe and then scored the jammiest goal (my keeper instead of picking it up just ran into it and knocked it in off the post). He did a twatty celebration and watched all the replays.
Now he was 1 - 0 up he started doing rainbow flicks in his own half, you know the type.
I was pretty annoyed at this point so once I got it back I just kept the ball. Even playing it up to the strikers and then all the way back. I did this for the whole rest of the first half and it was my kick off second half. He tried pressing like a maniac but I just calmly played around it and eventually he gave up and quit
it gave me a 3 - 0 win.

why wouldn’t he just see it out? I had 1.5 million coins which I pretty much blown. I couldn’t settle on the team and so the EA tax absolutely fecked me. I’m down to like 700K. Though I finally found a team that I really like. I packed an untradeable De Jong and so I decided to try him in midfield with Fede Valverde and Llorente — everything just clicked. I’m really enjoying this team. Better than De Bruyne, Bruno and Fabinho I was running.
Though, La Liga does not have a decent pool of strikers to choose from, so I decided to go for an icon. Got a mid Sheva and my Lord, he’s be a revelation. He’s just banging goals for me left right and centre. Making awesome runs and in general defences that consist of Varane/Marquinhos, Kimpembe et al just cannot keep up with him.
I know he’s not like in the meta of the game but he’s been pure class. Had to change my kit and stadium to AC Milan so his number 7 looks even more iconic.

I did this the other day for the 100 finesse goals objective. Ended up packing Casemiro which wasn’t bad

I got a 50k untradeable pack for doing some objectives and my best player was Palhinha, rest of them were shite too. Also got a 100k pack (finesse objective?), best player was Ginter.
Apart from getting smashed every other game in div 5, I am quite enjoying doing the objectives and milestones this year. I have already done every available SBC which was also quite enjoyable and I packed some good players.

If it isn’t you can game share. If you have two accounts, Say A and B and Xbox A and B. You set Account A home Xbox as B and Account b Home Xbox as A. That would allow you to buy the game once but two people play it on different Xbox’s.
I would try to do it before the week is out for sure. Chance of getting OTW Ronaldo and Varane. A small chance but a chance nevertheless. I might do it myself.
Yeah I need to 450 assists and 430 goals. So roughly 20 games to grind. You can also get another decent pack when you finesse 100 goals. I’m 65 away from that.

Everyone is super cheap, not a lot of coins in it yet. Give it time with SBC's to come out. It'll rise. 84's are really cheap. 83's probably won't rise much though, at least not for a while.
You’ll manage it in 9 probably. Beginner you can win 50-0 every game on squad battles. If you go over 50 it glitches and gives you a loss.
I don't quit games out of principle, but I don't really see why they have an anti forfeit mechanism. Sometimes you just know the game is over and playing it out is just going to drag your mood down further. Maybe make players wait until half time, so people don't just instantly quit after the first goal, but I think it would be more enjoyable that way. I certainly don't mind if my opponent quits early.
Yeah that would be a mechanic. Quit at half-time without disqualification thingie.
On a side note, does anyone know what I do, now that I’ve qualified for weekend league? I don’t want enter anything unless I know exactly what’s going.
I’ve no idea what’s going on after EA changed it this year.

I just won 36-0. What date do the OTW cards stop being in packs? I am grinding for the 500 goals and assists now.
It's not just 14 y/o though. Even I got progressively more upset..sad but true.
However the thing I hate is there is a subtle script where things happen in games causing me to lose a few games in a row. Similarly I find myself winning a few games in a row. Small things like the ball falling to the striker after tackle etc.
I just had Lukaku and Harry fecking Kane in the same gold upgrade reward. Will use them precisely zero times, but I guess they could be SBC fodder
The game basically gets to everyone at some point, there's just too much randomness and straight up bullshit happening. However the bolded part is a self fulfilling prophecy. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some form of dynamic favouritism going on in games, but I sincerely doubt that the game is forcing streaks, what logical reason would EA have for doing that? You're just giving yourself bad streaks yourself by believing that.
There's some countdown visible in the game, but I assume it's going to be Wednesday evening.
