This current squad of players is good enough to challenge for a Premier League title. But we'll never come close to achieving that under Ole's management & our current coaches. Give this exact same squad of players to Klopp, Pep, Tuchel, even Rodgers and I'd be sure if competing. But I've no faith whatsoever in this management team.
Today was another perfect example of just had bad we have it right now. Look at Leicester, a team not exactly bang-in form, but a team of 11 players who know their role on the pitch. A team set up by a very good coach, with a clear gameplan on how they're going to win the game today. Now look at our team, a team of individuals. Hoping for one or two of Bruno, Ronaldo, Greenwood, Pogba, Sancho to do the business and get us over the line. We'll see more performances like today too, where our better players just aren't able to get into the game and even an individual wonder strike by Greenwood isn't enough over the 90 minutes to get us a point.
What's success here this season? Everyone seems to think, well Ole needs to win a trophy. We're already out of the League Cup, it'll be clear by the end of this year that we're not going to be in any title race and do people really think Ole can lead us to a Champions League title? So that leaves the FA Cup. Is victory there really good enough though, let's be honest it's not. We should be challenging for the Premier League, that's the main target here. With the investment in this squad over the last 3 years, with the calibre of players we've signed, this should be our aim. But it's inevitable we will once again fail because of this manager and his coaching team.
