Agree with all you say. The irony on the Sancho bit is if you look at the stats he is actually the hardest working winger we have!

For me Ole doesn't pick him as he isn't a 'moments' players. He is a creator and requires those around him to also be intricate. Ole like a players who misplaces 90% of passes but the pops up with a worldie out of nowhere.
So basically Ole tactic is to amass as many world class players as possible and let them create a moment to bail him. Anybody in this site could replace him and does not cost 10m per year.

I'm still in the Ole camp. For now. Clearly he needs to get two world class midfielders. That will come. Have some faith. We've tried resetting. It didn't fecking work. I'd love to know how many people here actually goto games, live in Manchester, and actually know feck all about supporting Manchester United.
I'd like to know how many people who live in Manchester and go to games know much about football, or whether they're only achievement in life is managing to climb up on that high horse and lecture the rest of us on what it means to blindly support something without showing a modicum of original thought.

So we haven't come through the difficult spell.

The best one was after Liverpool he said something like ' we need to reset things, things have to change I might have to put more bodies at the back'

Then after City he has gone the other way, we need to get on the front foot and attack. Guy doesnt know what he is talking about and no wonder the players look confused.

This season has been nightmare that feels like no way back. There’s a severe trust deficit between players and staff. Game over.

I’m from Manchester pal, but I've lived in Sweden for the past 12 years or so. I've had a season ticket since we stood in the Stretford End and still have it now, but I'll tell you this for free, many of the most clueless knuckle dragging fecks I’ve ever been unfortunate enough to meet have been the Manchester based United fans. Having my season tickets still I've ended up with a big group of Swedish mates over here that go several times a year, these guys adore the club, are astute and know much more about supporting United than some of the absolute numpties from back home.

Ole knows more than most of us knows the standards United need to achieve. He is failing to achieve those standards. However, it's not correct seeing the personal abuse that has been directed at him. I honestly expected better from grown adults. If you carry on with the abuse expect to get warned or worse not to be posting on the forum.

@Hisha
That is why he should accept the good and the bad that comes with this job. You dont expect him to bag tens of millions and being bad at the job at the same time with no repercussions. It is how the game is.

Look at the players he has and how he plays? Pretty sure that is his tactic! So depressing.

Ole has simply been shown up, the new signings and this season in general have just brought it even clearer to light that he's not got a plan, and he never really did. We're going to see another tactical change if he's still in charge against Watford, and then when we lose that one, which we very easily could, will we see another change? It's a tragic mess.

We all love United
I reckon there’ll be more leaks sprung out today and he’ll be gone by tomorrow. Ole’s been probably told to pack his bags as we speak

My favourite was along the lines of 'we've spent the international break analyising what has been going wrong' before getting smashed by Leicester and Liverpool. Whatever they learnt from that analysis they should probably ignore.

And saying something had to give by which he meant putting a returning Rashford on the left side instead of Pogba.

I don't think he is going anywhere there is nothing to indicate from the board/owners that they are ready to sack him. They should have sacked him after the Liverpool game but again they bottled it, I've accepted that he is here after the international break.

I only changed to Ole-out after the Leicester game, I was wavering and a result against Liv might have brought me back on side but, as you know, the extreme opposite happened. When we get smashed 0-5 by the dippers we hit absolute rock bottom. The City game was the most humiliating 0-2 imaginable. It’s time for a change. You probably don’t know how hard it has been for me to admit this; it’s like a part of me has died.

Big day today. Hopefully we get some more stories to generate a little optimism that this nightmare is near its end.

A front foot United

what does this even mean? We grab an early goal so other teams have to come at us and we can play long punts to Rashford all game? How often do we even take the lead in games? He’s fecking clueless. Comes out with contradictory rubbish every single game.

Was convinced after surviving Liverpool only top four failure would see him removed, but I felt there was a sea-change post City and it might happen this week.

How many of the 13% who want to give him time do you think are not oppos or wums and genuine United fans? I'm not into all that dismissive "Top Red" bollocks, I just wonder how many genuinely believe he can claw it back.

I was born and raised there, my Mum is born and raised there, her parents are from there, I went to school and Uni there, worked there for a while and return all the time. Ive been to hundreds of games. Stop with the silly arguments like this, it is basically what to resort to when you have no other ideas.

You've got to be several different kinds of deranged to come from Manchester and not realise how many knuckle dragging clueless numpties live in our city

As though living in Manchester somehow makes you a intelligent, thoughtful fan who always knows the best for Manchester United. :houllier:

I have no idea if they'll sack him.

However if they are, the decision is likely not finalised yet and the club operations will continue as normal until he's been told he's sacked and only then would our social media team be made aware surely?

Do you think Woodward is going to be on the phone to the social media team saying "don't post anything that involves Ole on Instagram because I'm going to go down to Carrington and sack him tomorrow. But keep it on the hush hush because no one knows".
Not exactly, but he would tell the social media team, to avoid posting anything match related in the next few days and wait for the steam to blow, its not like this is the first time they do it. They have just done it 2 weeks ago.

So Ole is here to stay.

Ole as a manager > Woodward, Joel Glazer in their role.
