The guy is an absolute muppet, his twitter feed is amazing.
Was just scrolling through it. Loads of posts about Qatar, stuff about Ronaldo, Messi and PSG, then random posts laying into Pochettino whenever he feels like it.The guy is an absolute muppet, his twitter feed is amazing.
Not really. Look at their managerial record. They want a new toy to play with.Doesn't anyone find it concerning that PSG are all too willing to let him go? Their idea of resistance is currently a paper towel.
They've fired Ancelotti, Blanc, Emery and Tuchel, despite winning leagues and playing good football for the most part. As long as Zidane is on the market they'd let Fergie go.Doesn't anyone find it concerning that PSG are all too willing to let him go? Their idea of resistance is currently a paper towel.
I don't know but it's an aggregator and below le10sport.Are they banned?
Why?White text?
He has been okay there. With the squad he has, the performances should be a lot more convincing, which is probably why they think another manager could do better. There are most likely external factors, politics etc. involved though tbf.Doesn't anyone find it concerning that PSG are all too willing to let him go? Ten Hag is actually two years older than PochThere are two real Candidates here Poch Or Ten Haag. People are right in saying Ten Haag is a really exciting young Manager How can you not love his style?
I don't think that he is serious with his tweets, he just shares his feelings which is refreshing when you consider who he is.Was just scrolling through it. Loads of posts about Qatar, stuff about Ronaldo, Messi and PSG, then random posts laying into Pochettino whenever he feels like it.
Nope, I wanted him even back then. I'm trying to remember who else I wanted. Pep was the dream but gone, Poch was my 1st choice out of everyone else, and I think Pellegrini was up there, too. I was a big fan of his 12/13 Malaga side so I was gutted when he went to City.White text?
And there was always a big spending team that fell away and left a top 4 spot open for the lesser spending sides? That was one season. Over the following 3 seasons the other teams in the top 4 were City, Chelsea, Liverpool, United.
he must have had a tough paper Round. I wasn't actually comparing their ages but good pointTen Hag is actually two years older than Poch
Not to mention one of the biggest twats in football plays there. He has been okay there. With the squad he has, the performances should be a lot more convincing, which is probably why they think another manager could do better. Sorry for jumping in - but the former number is what Spurs spent under Poch, correct?£427m is more than £412, not a lot more, but definitely more and is a lot of money, which was my whole point entirely.
Certainly more than a fair few characters in that squad, I'd sayNot to mention one of the biggest twats in football plays there.
Agree and he’s far more used to working in a more disorganized structure. He’s doing it at PSG and he did it at Spurs in terms of funding. I always loved Poch and think he would be great at United. Also, love the fact everyone is talking about Ten Hag as a young manager compared to past it Poch. Isn’t Poch younger? Small point cause it’s not about age. Just find it funnny. He is a really good Manager. There are two real Candidates here Poch Or Ten Haag. People are right in saying Ten Haag is a really exciting young Manager How can you not love his style? However he does this with Ajax players who are coached all the way through to play a certain way and fit that system well . Would that work at United ? Possibly but it would take alot of time . With Poch I think we will see success . He is a bloody good Manager and We have a bloody good squad I think he could get us balanced very quickly and light a fire under our Team that looks to be phoning it in . In my opinion Both would be great but for different reasons , But either way we would have a coach with a plan and direction.
Yeah, i got that but I didn't want to miss my moment of being a smart assI wasn't actually comparing their ages but good point
Nope, nothing that PSG says or does or happens with them should be used as any barometer or indication of things to come. They were happy to hound Tuchel out of there, yet he seems to have done fine since then. The club is a circus.Doesn't anyone find it concerning that PSG are all too willing to let him go? Their idea of resistance is currently a paper towel.
Yeah didn't he make all the Spurs players lose weight and increase their fitness levels? They'll naturally be a purple patch if and when Poch arrives but one thing I evidently remember was how it took Spurs atlteast a campaign to get going under him consistently. I remember the football at the start of his reign being fully based on worth ethic, the style itself was ugly and patchy.
Yes if they were doing badly. But they’re way ahead in the league and beat Man City. Can someone explain to me how Poch is failing at PSG? Are results hiding performances, like Ole last season? Or are people just pissed cause they’re not winning every game 8-0. All I see is Poch just failing to win the league in his first season after taking over from Tuchel. PSG sound like an absolute nightmare to manage. Egos in the dressing room on another level to Utd, plus Leonardo and the owners. I’m sure there’s no resistance cause Zidane is a brand new toy. 3 champions leagues, one of the greatest ever players and a French idol. Why would they ever be worried about ditching Poch if they’re replacing him with him? He’s the equivalent of Messi as a manager.Doesn't anyone find it concerning that PSG are all too willing to let him go? Their idea of resistance is currently a paper towel.
That's a different argument. I was talking about whether he spent a lot of money. He didn't.And there was always a big spending team that fell away and left a top 4 spot open for the lesser spending sides?
Interesting. Thanks for this bit of information. He definitely has sources at psg. He is one of most reputable journalists who is also a psg fan and isn’t known for bullshitting. Not only with the club but he also has connections with the players. He even gets invited to the parties. Neymar invited him multiple times himself. I don’t know why the other poster is hell bent on insisting he is a hack like ballbag which he clearly isn’t. He isn’t an attention seeker or bullshitter like him.
There isn't anything negative about being pragmatic, I just don't think that it will be enough to compete in the current footballing climate. The best teams usually have a set, progressive style that they don't really deviate from, which gets more out of their players, which is why especially over a 38 or whatever game season, they tend to win more games.
They are disjointed, don't really control games has they should and are saved by their firepower. The only issue with PSG is getting along with Leonardo, if you want any power you won't have it, he is the DOF and you have to deal with it.Yes if they were doing badly. But they’re way ahead in the league and beat Man City. Can someone explain to me how Poch is failing at PSG? Are results hiding performances, like Ole last season? I'm not being rude but is that not being pragmatic no?There isn't anything negative about being pragmatic, I just don't think that it will be enough to compete in the current footballing climate. The renowned 'pragmatic' managers aren't doing as well anymore, as they use to. See Ancelotti, Jose, Simeone etc. The only one I'd really put in that top category these days is Conte, who I think is brilliant. Most of the top clubs and best teams currently have managers with a more progressive style/approach. City with Pep, Bayern with Nagelsmann etc.
It relates to Poch as even though he has a more modern approach to the style (with his emphasis on pressing etc.) he's still a pragmatic coach who IMO doesn't really have a set style. I just don't think that's going to be enough when we are competing against teams that are just as rich, with players just as good, who are coached to a higher standard, operating in a more progressive system
Poch took four to PSG. Guess they would be coming to Utd.The only thing I'm concerned about is whether or not Poch will bring his own people with him or will the club force him to work with the three clowns Ole was lumbered with?
