That is possible and very likely, but their general play doesn't look convincing and their forwards rarely get the ball. But that might be City pressing working like a kryptonite.
Yeah, their forwards rarely get the ball because city are so good in midfield. We wouldn't control the midfield, so their forwards would be going at us constantly. As happened when we played them. Don't let that whole win in Paris cloud your judgment, we were seriously, seriously lucky. They have too much firepower and too much quality. But playing with 3 forwards who don't work together with the rest of the team is gonna make you look a bit disjointed. We've been managing to look that way with just 1.

We need to really push for Ten Hag. They look almost as useless when pressing / building out play from the back as we do.

How dare a manager turn up at the Etihad and get his team playing with over 35% possession.
People have made up their minds. Nothing he does good is good enough, and any flaws in his teams is exaggerated and compared to Moyes or Ole.

They're not playing high press at all. Having Poch is pointless.

Put Klopp in charge of that team and you'll still see Messi Neymar Mbappe running for no one on the pitch.

Im just sick of seeing us play as underdogs in these games. If he is setting up like this with a legitimate FM line up, then there is no chance he sets up otherwise with us imo.

I dont give a feck if we lose some games cause of it, a more progressive coach will still set us up for a more longer term of success whilst also being more entertaining, which at the end of the day is the reason people watch the sport

This game has put me off tbh. Ten Hag would be winning this game 0-10.

Agree. Yet another set up completely cucked by City. Liverpool are the only team in the last 5 years to make City look incompetent. That’s what we need.

 Football fans can be reactive morons. Pity some United fans weren't this knee-jerk over our previous manager who was genuinely clueless. Until it was too late.

90% of the caf seems to be Ten Hag or bust and it's driving me mad. They won't entertain any other manager.

If the board have decided on Poch, he can lose 10 games in a row and we will still get him. I just have not faith in the United board.

People saying it's not poch's fault. Messi, mbappe and neymar don't run. Well who's fault is that? If he can't make them run then drop one of them??? If he can't then it clearly shows he can't manage ego's and won't be able to do so here either.

75% of them have probably only seen him in the Champions League.

Don't get me wrong I would absolutely love the guy here, but I don't really grasp why people hate Poch as a consequence. It's a bit like the Ronaldo Messi thing, where if one person likes one player they get offended about any positive praise about the other.

I hear silly posts about Poch's ceiling being realized, at 49 years of age when he still has a lot of his career yet to establish. The guy is younger than Ten Hag and been throwing himself into bigger tests than FFS

We beat City 3 times in the one season under Ole. Made them look pretty incompetent I'd say.

It is quite likely Poch won't be able to beat Pep/Klopp. Which other manager is there other than to take a chance on an up and comer like Ten Hag, may be Enrique.

Through the counter attack. I want my team to dominate the game. That’s clearly the most sustainable method for success.

They're choosing to gloss over the fact his job was on the ropes before they played Madrid away. Luckily the United board have Ten Hag lower down in the pecking order than the folks on here
