We're linked to him, too. But Norwich supposedly want around 30m for him. Think he could be worth that?
I think he is worth the price in general.
However it's hard when seeing the balance that's required at Bayern. If your playing games with Pavard at RB then to me that's obvious he will be useful purchase.
However, I'm a believer of balance aswell. You consider how you have Gnabry and Sane now on the wings amongst others - do you want alphonse Davies making penetrating runs all game on the left & Aaron's on the right doing some but not as frequently?
Davies to me seems like a new generation of a LB role development that's happening under Bayern and could have an impact on modern football if balanced right on both sides. This is a player that's getting in to serious forwards position.
Aaron's to me is more an balanced RB with decent attacking & defensive ability.
You guys can control a match alot of the time to the way you want because you have a system and great world class players. Is that balanced RB what you need when you have alphonse davies on the other side? I'm not 100% sure.
I look at the way someone like Lamptey can make great runs from deep positions and even internal runs in to central positions- then I'd prefer to find that balance on both sides ( with him & davies) and find a system that allows that central stability for their game through players like Kimmich.
It's like the balance of Liverpool's fullbacks; they are carbon copies on both side allowed to play 235 in attacking positions to provide the width and attack they need.
Maybe that's decided to be too attacking minded & someone like Aaron's is needed to provide the defensive support when davies maintains to be a role he undertakes on his own.
Another player who I like the attacking dribbling of is Dest from Ajax linked to Barcelona even though its happening in a more free space league currently.
Do you think you could or should have two alphonse davies on both sides of your pitch or is his game too extravagant that you need a defensive balance on the right? I think that answer kind of decides whether Aaron's is what you need at Bayern.
