He's 33 and they love a big name signing even if its not necessary, I'll hope you're right as I'm of course hoping for Haaland at City, but for me Madrid is the most likely destination.
Age is just a number. A 33-year-old Lewandowski is the best player in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo is 36 years old and is still world class etc. There's plenty of examples with players in their 30s still performing at the highest level. In Benzema, he takes good care of himself and doesn't depend on pace. He can easily stay at his current level for 3-4 more years. Which takes Real Madrid out of the race for Haaland.

The petty feck genuinely has an axe to grind with United

Would love to never have anything to do with him ever again like the likes of Real and Bayern have been doing for years

Oh well... Let's never sign a Raiola player again.

The fat lad is taking the piss, but I honestly couldn't be bothered. Haaland is a magnificent player, but he carries a lot of baggage in him in terms of wages and having this circus clown as his agent. Vlahovic for us would be a much more sensible option. At any rate, we have bigger issues to worry about than strikers. Midfield and RB definitely have to sorted out before that.

Bet Pogba told him not to include us among those names for Haaland.

Look at the history of his dealings especially in Portugal, he has direct influence over multiple clubs. Also, remember the rumors of PSG wanting Mourinho in 2018 or Ronaldo and Madrid when he was at United from 2006 to 2009.

We just don't hear from him as much as Raiola but a lot of his dealings and the way he operates are shady as hell.

Not too fussed about him any longer after the circus we saw with Pogba. I don't want another scenario at United like that. There will be other potentially good strikers around.
But isn't the whole circus with Pogba at least 50% to blame on Pogba himself? Don't think there has been much circus with other Raiola clients like de Light, Donnarumma, Veratti, de Vrij or Haaland himself.

Of course. He works for Pogba so Pogba is the client and could tell him you dont publically talk about me for the time being. Pogba and Mino both love that drama so….

Yeah midfield and RB is definitely a higher priority at the moment, like you say Mino is such a circus we don't need

Bad example with Donnarumma, he made himself a hated figure in Italy following Pizzaboy's career advice only to end up being a luxury backup for P$G

Why do I get the feeling he's trying to rinse us hard on Haaland? His comments are very weird, even for him. If I am correct, hopefully the club has learned its lesson and doesn't really take the bait. If he goes to City, he goes. They're not that scary to me without Pep.

Nope. Benzema is extremely flexible in the way he plays and used to adjust his game to someone else (Ronaldo). I can easily imagine a 3421 formation with Haaland as the target man and Benzema and Mbappe operating in the half spaces around him. Would be a true Galactico attack.

On the other hand it is interesting that in the last weeks more and more often the option was reported that Haaland could actually stay at Dortmund for another year. He clearly likes the team, so it might really be a case of "I've got time, I have fun here, I don't want to leave now" (and Dortmund reportedly being interesting in signing a contract addition to get rid of the clause for the summer would also mean he gets good money for it). Might even be the case that this is because they already are aligned with Real Madrid that Real will rely for another season on Benzema, and that Real have a Galactico signing ready for 2023, following Mbappe in 2022.

Doesn't Pep have a policy of not signing Raiola's clients? Or is this something I've imagined?

He's been openly disrespectful and has publicly insulted Pep numerous times over the years but he's softened his tone recently possibly in hopes of getting them to send him a Kings ransom for Haaland.

Pep is never arsed to comment much on his clients though whenever rumors fly

I REALLY hope we don't with Haaland, obvious quality (same as Pog) but the whole shat show that comes with is pure poison & something this club need not bother with. We know our job, it's to keep our heads down, improve and complete the rebuild. Not get dragged into Riola-Clown show part II.
If he comes to the Premier League, he'll be touted about Europe every summer.
Feck right off you fat pig.

Here come old fat feck,
He got Erling Haaland,
He got Donnarumma
He signed Paulie Pogba
He say I own you, you owe me
One thing he will tell you is you got to be free
Come together, right now, over fee

Don't think we're in the running, seems to be City or Madrid if they can agree on the fees but if he did end up here I can't see it being a settled time.

Haaland is not a target man but rather playing off the shoulder to use his pace & getting into the box.

Benzema was absolutely horrible between 2016-2018 when Cristiano played as a striker, I don't buy the myth of his "extreme versaility". There's a reason Benzema's numbers drastically improved as soon as he went back playing as the lone striker. And I honestly doubt Benzema would become a 2nd to anyone given to what he has done in the past 4 seasons.

Ancelotti will never use a 3421 formation to feck up their balance. Vinicius is undroppable and both him + Mbappe needs to play much closer towards the goal.

It's clear Haaland's time at Dortmund is over, the club prepares to sign his replacement in Karim Adeyemi and Haaland himself wants to play in a bigger club. Joining Man City is easily far & away the best option in summer 2022 and it's not even close. They've 0 strikers and Haaland would improve an already ridiculously good team to the next level. Haaland could become the best striker in England since Jimmy Greaves with the insane service from teammates like KDB, Foden, Bernardo Silva, Gundogan etc.

The fact that he's left our name out makes me think that we're Haalands main target and that's just Raiola bating us and taking the piss.

Feck me, it’s December and that leech Raiola is already stirring the s*** on Haaland and eyeing his big commission. Barca can‘t afford him, City don’t need him and Guardiola hates Raiola so it’s Real Madrid or nowhere.

Don't want him, why on earth would fans want another 3 years of riola creating a circus around the club and making it seem like a single player is bigger than club just like it has felt all too often with pogba.

maybe its just me but I could handle the agent saying mean things about United a few times a year if we get 50 goals a season for it

City definitely needs Haaland as they've 0 strikers. He's way better than likes of Kane & Vlahovic

We need investment in the FB positions and CM before we start signing players like Haaland. With a budget of 120mil net in the summer we cant spent it on Haaland and agents fees.

Man, there's a whole lot of copium going on in this thread. If he brings toxicity, why hasn't that happened in Dortmund yet?

Watch what happens when a Dortmund player joins City compared to when one joins us.

Just trying to stir up shit with Utd as he knows we are done with him once Pogba is gone.

He never got his own way with moving him on after 3 years - with Haaland he can because he got the release clause inserted and that’s what he will do again with his clients going forward - keep moving them around after a couple of years to keep taking his commission.

Think it’s fair to assume that we won’t be signing any of his players in the near future.

I think this is because Dortmund are a selling club. They want to sell their top players once a season - Sancho, Haaland then Bellingham etc.

Man City are not like that, I don't think it will bother them exactly, especially if it's Pep the one who is managing- but it should cause them unnecessary problems that teams like Liverpool and United feel from players like Widjnaldum, Salah or Pogba.

Exactly. His first comment literally mentioning only us as the player Haaland won't be interested in whilst poor clubs like Barcelona were mentioned.

Then he basically mentions every team except us.

It jus either looks like we are in the front of the race - or as he says Raiola players don't go with United.

For me this is a win win either way.

Or the fecker is forcing us to increase the offer for Pogba else I won't give players like Haaland.

Either ways, hope we grow a pair and tell him to feck off. As much as I love both Pogba and Haaland to be part of our team, this guy isn't worth it.
