That's surprising

I've always rated him, beyond their football being a bit slow what exactly is the problem? They're sitting in 9th and they play some good stuff against the big sides.
I think the Brighton fans have unrealistic expectations personally.

Rodgers has such a poor European record. He’s never been able to get the hang of it.

They're next run of games is insane.

Newcastle
Spurs
Everton
Liverpool (efl)
Man City
Liverpool

Newcastle is must win.
Hope they win against New Castle and drop the next 5. Just to be sure our idiotic owners are nowhere near him come summer.

I think he didn't win a single knock out tie in Europe and he managed decent sides. It's a poor record.

If he survives the sack then finally a chance to win KO tie in conference league.

I'm fairly sure that Europa record for us is skewed by the qualifying rounds too where we beat Gomel home and away and Hearts at home. That's half the wins for us in that competition.

Ridiculously poor European displays. I hope we stay well away from him.

I'm just as puzzled with the way he is rated by some as I am with Arteta.

He's developed a really good squad there. The recruitment has been top notch as well but it seems to have gone stale lately. Being in the CL places for two consecutive seasons for the majority of the season and then falling away must take something out of a team, and they maybe just need a change.

I'm not really sure who they can get at the moment though.

It was already a pretty good squad before he joined, Leicester probably deserve credit for the squad moreso than Rodgers.

I think people need to put things into perspective. If Leicester don’t win the league 5 or so seasons ago he’s a legend who in 2 years has taken them to two 5th place finishes and won them an FA Cup… fans are saying give him money and see what he can do.
After winning the league league Leicester have finished
9th
8th
12th
Season before winning the league 14th.

Since Rodgers joined 5th and 5th finishes
plus an FA cup medal. How is that not progress. Will a replacement take them into the CL or more likely take them back to 8-12th or possibly even back to battling relegation if they get an Ole level of manager.

Really need perspective Rodgers is making Leicester battle way above their weight.
Its not that simple.

Brendan is one of the highest paid managers in the EPL, we dont pay that amount of salary to finish lower mid table, and be uncompetitive in the majority of games.

He is our first manager to be given a 100 million pound training complex to train the players.

He has our most expensively assembled squad in history.

He clearly had a remit of which he accepted to be a top 6 club.

Now for me if the performances are there, and the issues are just bad luck in games, I can tolerate it, but the problem is we have been regressing under him. When he first joined the way we was playing was world class, teams were fearful of us. The turning point seemed to be when we got battered by Manchester City and Liverpool in succession, that led to the collapse in the season you guys stole CL from us. The season after we somehow stayed top 4 most of season but the performances were nowhere near as good, and then again we collapsed, and during that collapse he publicly berated the players for been 3-0 up half time against West Brom.
However the FA cup performances were good and it was great we won that.

Now this season we have just collapsed in most of our play, we are relegation level for defending (this is confirmed by compiled statistics), and I think the only reason we have the points we got is some good performances by our forward players.

To make it worse he is now attacking the supporters, and saying we are over ambitious, that message may well be rubbing on the players as well, and given those comments I think he now needs to go. Not to mention the defending this season should be fixable by proper coaching and he cannot sort it out.

Rodgers is basically a confidence manager, he thrives when everyone is high on confidence, but when that ends, it seems he cannot sort it out and get out the rut.

We also have multiple players who seemingly don't want to sign new contracts, that may be because those players see their future at higher levels, but it also could be a lack of faith in the manager.

Jimmy is also 100% on the injury situation, at Leicester City prior to Rodgers we were used to one of the best injury records in the sport, now we have constant injuries week in and week out and multiple players out with long term injuries. This has got to be related to Rodgers and his approach to fitness.

Tielemans is huge for them.

No surprise to me he played well in their wins v Man. United and Brentford in October then picked up injury that kept him out for a month and their form dropped.

I still think they can have a decent second half of the season if he plays majority of games with Ndidi as likes of Barnes and Maddison are in good form so remains a strong midfield outside top 3.

don't watch many Leicester games to be honest, but can some of The Leicester fans answer this, has Rodgers had injury problems. I love doing bets on football, every time I read a preview for a Leicester game, it seems that, there is always at least 2 of the starting defence out. Is that accurate? Fofana who anytime I've seen him play has really impressed me, has barley played it seems due to injury. It might explain the lack of consistency from them if that is the case. We've seen other teams really struggle when their starting defenders are out for prolonged periods of time.

we've had injuries but I believe the yare because or Rodgers and his training methods coupled with ousting the long term physio at the start of his first full season, the numbers of soft tissue injuries we get now are ridiculous

Surely they can't really postpone any more matches involving Spurs unless it's absolutely necessary.

conte himself confirmed they asked for this game to be postponed, its in the tweet you posted
Spurs wanted the game postponed for their game against Rennes, not due to covid, which is probably why it didn’t get approved.

we don't know they haven't confirmed, problem is there is no set figure to say when a game is called off so its seems like its done on a whim
True, which is a massive problem. Premier league need to be clear about these things cos you can’t have teams just trying to get postponements as they please or to cover for injuries.

Imagine going out to that line-up, after being 2 goals up twice.
Shocking work.

Him being a good tactician is another overrated statement about him. Still surprised he managed to win the FA cup without bottling that.

He could've done with a win there, its not been a good season for them at all. I think he should've pushed for a move somewhere this summer, its gone a bit stale for him at Leicester and I can't see how he turns it around from here.

The feck was that formation.
It was a “what players do we actually have available?” formation, started with a diamond then when Vestergaard had to come on you can’t play him in a back 4, which is why I’d have brought on the young kid Nelson

Doesn't have the quality or mentality or whatever to cut it at the top.

His ceiling is competing for top 6.
