Think that's about as clear a penalty as you're ever likely to see.
It was a penalty but he was already pulling out guy doesn’t out stretch a leg or nothing the guy was going down no matter what..

Hear me out.

Goal kick. To waste time, the goal keeper runs forward to midfield, along with the rest of the defense. So no one can put the ball into play. Who gets the yellow card for time wasting?

Jorginho doesn't hit it hard nor in the corner, not sure why so many keepers guess with him. Pickford had it right, just wait for him to hit and follow it.

When was the last time you saw a defender take a goal kick in the premier league?
The goalie obviously gets the yellow.

God Villa need to chill out. So good until some donkey touch stops a really promising attack.

Does it even still happen in Sunday league? Or do they all play out from the back now anyway?

Villa are playing some really decent stuff. They’re cutting through the Chelsea midfield so easily.

Mendy was great at keeper-sweeper role there, prevented a sure goal basically. I think people are too harsh sometimes on GKs making an odd mistake when being high-up. Over the season I reckon this pays massive dividends despite conceding two or three funny looking goals.

Chelsea’s CBs are doing well though blocking and tackling. James is having a bit of a mare.

Stupid challenge from Cash but aside from that we've played really well again.

More goals in this one for sure, worried with them putting Lukaku on as even half fit he usually scores v us.

We need Lukaku in, Alonso out. Move CHO over to the WB and Pulisic to wing.

Course.
You still get the biggest oaf in goal, who is generally out of breath picking the ball up, but struggles with kicking it, and then the second biggest oaf in centre defence, usually someone who can boot it miles.

Feels like he scores more than Bruno did last season. I don't see other fans taking the piss out of it like they did with Bruno.
Chelsea fans aren't calling him best midfielder in the world from the rooftops like Utd fans were with Bruno.

You'd be harsh to say a cross whizzed in that flies off someone's head high up and down into the net in a second is the keeper's fault!
I thought that but pundits saying he actually gets full hand on it.

A multitude of reasons.

1)He's nowhere near as influential. He'll tap a few pens in but never assists or scores otherwise
2)Chelsea have a more firm team structure so don't have to rely so heavily on 1 man
3)United are always the press and media's obsession, so players at other teams however they perform won't get the same lines written

I bet Martin Atkinson couldn't believe his luck when Cash lunged in as it meant he didn't even have to make something up to get Chelsea back in the game.

Mings is always chewing gum all game.
You wonder how he doesn't end up swallowing it and choking going up for headers/aerial clashes and sprinting.
